It's unfortunate that I have to update my glowing review of this place. But it's been 4 days…read morewithout a reply from the owner. I began requesting an appointment for either Friday or Saturday of this week on Tuesday. I've called with no answer, left voicemails, and sent 2 emails without a single response. While I understand that she operates this place on her own, 4 days is entirely too long to not respond to a paying customer with no explanation of why. We were able to get an appointment at another ultrasound business and will try that. I really wanted to give Natalie my business after a great experience the first time around but this is a deal breaker for me.

Unfortunately she was quite in a bad position and we could not see anything : ( : ( Natalie said I could reschedule for 2 weeks and JUST pay more $25. What??? I paid $60 for NOTHING. It took us 15 minutes , we didn't see anything and mo pictures were taken. I paid and left. My husband was so disappointed and called her , we know its not her fault but neither our fault. All we ask was to come back without any charge since we already paid for a " package". We know sometimes the baby does not help, but she could be more understanding and make the client happy!

I won't bury the lead, I started April 1 and I've lost 50 pounds. Go here if you're serious about…read morechanging your habits and the way you feel about your body. Pros - It works. Seriously. If you stick to the plan they provide, you'll feel changes in a few days, and other people will start to see the changes in a couple weeks. - The staff is super friendly. The NP's are really knowledgeable, and reception is always really nice. They remember you from visit to visit, and everyone seems really invested in your progress. - They're thorough. Wish I could underline that word for emphasis, but they actually care about your well-being, not just your results or getting you to spend money. - The offices are lovely, they validate parking, and they don't make you fill out a lot of paperwork every time you go. Cons - There's really only one, and it won't apply to most people. I work non-conventional hours, I simply CANNOT miss work, so the big reason I picked AMI over other clinics is that they were open every other Saturday, so I could actually go to appointments. But I'm 15 pounds away from my goal weight, and they've stopped doing Saturday hours. It's not a problem if you don't work 14-hour days, but it's a big bummer for me. I still strongly recommend AMI, and appreciate the progress that I've made there, but really wish I didn't have to stop going now that I'm so close to meeting my goal.

They were older, and should know better that someone who had surgery...cannot put on a gown by themselves and just to hold it out so you can take it from them doesn't cut it, they don't introduce themselves, say good morning, ask how you feel, or what else can they do for you after they do the minimum...such as take your vitals, do a glucose check, or their other tasks. They are reluctant to assist you to the bathroom when they answer the call bell and no conversation as to your well being. there was only one NA who was caring, spoke to you and was kind. She was the exception. I had a total of five NA's and she was the only reason I haven't written to Emory Hospital right away. SJH was exceptional....too bad Emory took over! The quality and reputation that Saint Joseph had is sadly no more. I would not recommend Emory to anyone for Surgery or as an inpatient.

I was referred to Emory Eye Clinic to be fitted for a sclarel contact lens as treatment for keracotonus. During my first visit in September 2025, the doctor explained that prescribing the lens is a 4 visit process. He said it would cost $800 out of pocket plus a $30 copayment for each visit. The billing department confirmed this. I paid the $800 promptly. I have also paid $30 during each visit. My final appointment was in January 2026. About a week later, I received a bill for $515. I contacted Emory and my insurance company to resolve this issue. My insurance contacted Emory and explained that there was a problem with the claim and told them how to fix it. They did not correct the error. I got a bill for $485 a few weeks later. I again contacted Emory and my insurance company. My insurance company contacted Emory a second time. I received another bill in April. This time it was back to $515. However my account in MyChart says it's $485. My insurance company contacted Emory a third time. I reached out to the billing department via MyChart. The response said that a quote from billing is not a guarantee, that my insurance doesn't cover keracontonus and that they cannot provide a itemized bill that reflects payments on my account. All of that is inaccurate and unacceptable. After 3+ months of all this, I made a complaint to Patient Relations. They intervened. They also gave me a lot of excuses. I understand that mistakes in billing happen. I don't understand the unwillingness to correct the mistake. The could have easily resolved if Emory had listened to my insurance company in the first place.

I first met with Dr. Deal on 1/12/24 at 1000. I thought I had found a solution to my conditions…read more The staff was terrific and Dr. Deal was like talking to an old friend from my past and we were just catching up. He discussed treatments and did a physical exam. He provided his treatment plan and sent Anthony in to discuss the details. Anthony provided the pricing and payment details and offered to begin then and there that day. I had plans that were not compatible with starting treatment, so I said I can't start today and stated why. Anthony said, "I'll call you next week"! I was ready to start and looked forward to the call. It never came. On Wednesday, I called and spoke with a female who answered. She said they were out of the office and Anthony would give me a call the next day and they had my number. It never came. The following week, I wrote Dr. Deal a hand written letter and mailed it. I received no response. I couldn't believe that I, as a prospective patient, was being so totally ignored. I started looking around at competitors. I filled out an online request to be contacted at another doctor's office. Again, crickets, there was no response. I began to wonder what the cause of this might be. Was it cold indifference? Was it administrative oversight? Systems communication failure? Do they have so many more patients that they can't possibly process all of them, and maybe not those that don't sign up "that day"? Are you black balled if you say, "Yes, please call me"! I would have gladly given my money if I thought they could treat my conditions. And what they suggested, I researched which only confirmed what they told me. So, why the Crickets. Hopefully they read this and will respond.
