It has been an amazing experience for me. I have found help, grounding and connection utilizing the tools this facility provides at an afford cost.

What an awful experience!…read more Staff was rude and inconsiderate. I would recommend an alternative counseling center! The intake 'Professional' was half my age with a pompous attitude, especially after asking if i was applying for their scaled services payment options. After complying with all requirements spelled out ahead of time, they demanded a full copy of my 2025 tax returns. I wouldn't and was asked to leave. Pretty sad when a counseling center turns you away.

The front desk personnel are efficient; they get your call where it needs to go, so you can then get the compassionate counsel you need. If you are expecting to get a warm hug AND full on venting, with front desk personnel, your expectations for what front desk personnel do may need a little tweaking. It is always nice when there is a softness to their voice that sends the message "We'll take good care of you". We have found that my daughter truly connects with Kasey Woods and that is essential for growth. I can't put into words the "warm hug" feeling you get just from hearing Ms. Woods' voice. I have found her to go above and beyond, with her empathetic listening to my young daughter. My daughter doesn't share much ; the fact that she looks forward to sessions with Ms. Woods, where she shares, are a Godsend. As a parent, Ms. Woods listens to my concerns in an active, we'll do something about it, way. I love our experience , over the last several months, with TBC.

It's like they just tell you what they think you want to hear and then do whatever they want later. The office manager or whomever is in charge of billing is beyond ugly. She takes an attitude right off the bat with you, and shows no grace, no understanding and is just not a kind person. You would think the person you want in charge of collecting $$, would be one that you'd want not to be rude. We all get that it's a business and needs payment to survive, but one, don't lie to me and two, don't tell people I'm being ugly when all I asked you was a straight forward simple question that was not ugly in the least. Not only that, after working with them for over a decade, it's a hit or miss on the therapist, which is to be expected, but more than one of them have an unparalleled since of entitlement, like being a Christian based therapy makes them akin to God And you are not allowed to have boundaries or not allow people to talk down to you and turns you in to the enemy, and this is with the therapists and office staff. We are all human and as long as we aren't treating them like dog poo, we should get the same respect from them. I just don't understand the attitude or the lying. It's unnecessary and uncalled for.

I've had very little experience with doctors and 0 experience with Psychiatric doctors in the past…read more My wife had been suggesting I talk with someone for a few years because of irregular changes in moods and several serious bouts of depression. I was reluctant to admit a problem and I really just figured there was not much point as I have always been this way and don't know if I'll change. After another bad month my wife caught me in a weak moment and I agreed to do it. One of my biggest hang ups on getting help was I really didn't see myself being able to talk with someone about all the issues. I picked Dr. Feintuch almost randomly off of the Psychology Today list of recommended psychiatrists in Nashville. My criteria for a doctor are my own but I basically rolled the dice and figured if it was a bad experience I could venture elsewhere. I've only been 4 or 5 times now. From the start I was very anxious and somewhat embarrassed of going. The nervousness about going has subsided the receptionist lets you in and doesn't try to make any awkward conversation and lets you wait in peace. Dr. Feintuch has a very calm and attentive affect that does not feel like the stereotypical "shrink" depicted in movies. Her office feels like a study right out of your own home and is located in a clean and comfortable American Foursquare right off of Music Row. I felt very nervous about going into this situation and was not sure how it would go. Mostly she ask questions here and there and lets you talk about what's going on in your head. She ask plenty of good questions and never comes across as critical or snooty, even when I fall into a blabbering tirade and get off topic. She did offer a few potential diagnoses that she thought might be related to my issues but not in a threatening or absolute way that made me feel labeled with a big problem. She offered potential medicines and various snippets of advice to these issues. She also recommended a book that I listened to and identified with immediately. The main reason I felt compelled to write this review is I was just last week in one of the darkest depressions I have experienced and her very simple advice(in that moment it seemed trivial)as well as my wife's support is helping to get me out bed each day and move on. I intend to continue to see Dr Feintuch on a regular basis. If you or someone you know needs a doctor to talk to, in the mental health arena, I recommend Dr Feintuch.
