We visited this past Sunday during the 11 AM sermon. I grew up Southern Baptist and have visited churches that follow the Southern Baptist, Methodist, and Presbyterian beliefs.
I am desperately trying to find my "home" church.
I was drawn to CCC after attending their fall festival a year ago. My family had a wonderful time and our interactions with church members was kind, polite and welcoming.
Today we were greeted with the same genoristy. We parked in the guest parking spot which is right at the main entrance. We were immediately welcomed, with open arms, and guided to the welcome desk. I can't begin to put onto words how welcomed we felt. The kindness, hospitality and eagerness to make us feel comfortable was unbelievable.
Our kiddos transitioned nicely into their respective classrooms. The rooms are nicely organized and spacious. We also appreciated the diligence in adhering to our youngest sons food allergies.
The music during the service was moving. The service itself answered so many personal questions I had about trying this new church. The service was about 90+ minutes long. From what I gathered from the bulletin there are small groups, prayer nights and plenty of activities for children.
I'm looking forward to visiting again. read more
