First let me say I have worked with about 5 web design companies and each seemed great initially…read more They seemed knowledgeable about web design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and had "proven" ways to increase sales due to increased customer engagement. Well none of those web design people came through. I paid a tremendous amount of money and sales didn't increase, my web presence didn't increase, and they failed on their plan to increase my ROI for the site. CC&A has delivered on every promise. They come to you with questions to understand what you are trying to achieve, prepare a comprehensive, written strategic plan and then follow up to track the progress regularly. This is where the other companies fall apart. They are done with the site and they feel they've done their job. CC&A create metrics that are important to you, initiate their strategy then monitor the progress. They are hands down, the most professional, thorough and professional web design company I have dealt with or interviewed to do work for me. I can give my most sincere recommendation to use CC&A for any of your web needs.

We originally contracted CC&A to build our business a website on 5/27/15. At that time we were…read moregiven a projected time frame that would have a website launched within 3 months. Hank Chaudron (owner of Chaudron Glass) became very busy and the website was put on hold until the Fall. Steve sent us several emails asking for content, but we were just too busy doing glass work. Finally, in April of 2016 we contacted Steve and Jack and said we were ready to get back on the website project. We were reassigned to Justin Cohen. Justin sent us an outline to complete. The first time our responses were sent was 5/23/16, and we were asked for three dates to have a call with a writer. After hearing nothing until 6/13 I emailed asking for confirmation of conference call. I heard nothing and while we waited at each of the three times, we were stood up. I called Jack and was told that Justin was out, he got married. Why would he schedule appointments during a time we wouldn't be in the office? Finally, after re-sending the outline and being clear with Justin that we were now anxious to complete the site, another call was scheduled for 6/24. Before this meeting, I provided C&A with a business project my college student did which was full of content, photographs and quotes. When the "writer" called us she had never seen ANY of the information provided to C&A. It was the fourth appointment (3 others they never called) and a total waste if our time. We rec'd the first draft on July 1, it was a mess. There were factual inconsistencies, too much repetition and grammatical errors. My high school Senior paper was better written. It was horrible. We rejected it immediately. We still had not heard from them on 7/19. I made a call, received a 2nd draft on 7/20 and this time they plagiarized my 21 year old, had the company name and officer's names listed incorrectly and the content was no more accurate. After thinking about it for a week, we rejected this draft as well. Finally, we were turned back over to Steve. He called me. We had about a 40 minute conversation in which he called me a liar, and was completely unprofessional. I told him that they were incompetent, were fired and believed that we should be released from our contract and given a refund. (I believe that he was aware of the repeated issues and immediately cancelled our contract, but refused a refund) I filed a complaint with BBB, but they have been vague and untruthful with their responses.

I don't do anything with it so every year I have this internal debate on whether I should keep paying to keep it. The cost isn't trivial (hence the debate) but I always end up just shrugging my shoulders and keeping it. I had auto-renewal turned off in case I changed my mind and it's always such a painful process to renew as they make you step through page after page where they try to upsell you services I didn't want/need. I never bothered shopping around for other domain name registrars because I didn't want to go through the hassle of doing that (shame on me). I decided this was the year I would shop around and I was shocked at what I found. Each year I was paying $39.99 for the renewal of my domain name and $15.99 for the renewal of private registration for that domain name. Remember this is not for a website or any other functionality associated with the domain name. The domain name registrar I transfered to charges less than $20 a year for BOTH the domain name renewal and private registration. That is an enormous cost difference. Network Solutions also makes it quite painful to leave them. All domain name transfers require an "auth code" as part of the process to verify that you are indeed the owner of the domain name. I was shocked that after I requested my auth code that I was told it would be delivered in THREE days for security reasons. If security was the true reason for this delay wouldn't emailing the owner of the domain name saying "Hey, did you request an auth code?" be a top priority? I received no such correspondence. Since I had three days to kill I researched how some of the top registrars handle this. Almost all of them let you generate your auth code immediately. After three days I was emailed an auth code. Once I initiated the transfer with the auth code in another four days the domain name transfer away from Network Solutions took place. The one positive thing I can say is that I was able to do all of this without any complications and without having to call them.
