Well, we were pleasantly surprised to find it open on our most recent trip to visit my dad. We stopped in, used the restroom, grabbed some cold drinks, and some snacks. We had just filled up on gas in Kingman so we skipped topping off this time, but the pumps looked pretty standard for a Maverik. We will try them out on our next visit. We used the self-checkout and got some instant savings on our purchases. The clerk was super friendly as he checked on us and even offered us a bag for our purchases. As a regular visitor to the area and beyond, I am super happy to have a new place to stop. The town otherwise really only has a couple of old Shell stations along this stretch of the road. Maveriks are always a great place to stop for fuel, drinks, and snacks and their rewards program is top notch. Check it out if you're in the area.

Went inside to let the clerk know about it, little did I know he was not having a good morning. It was busy so that might explain his response to me when I was just letting him know about it. Instead of just saying thank you and recording the issue, he said he didn't know what I expected him to do about it as he didn't have time to deal with it. Front counter employee could be a little friendlier and focused on customer service. Bottom line I like Maverik so I will continue to shop there, Ill just avoid that employee.

The store itself is also clean and well maintained. There are a bunch of food and snack options. The only wish list item I had was that I wish she had more low cal foundation drink options although caffeine like Gatorade zero or light lemonade or tea. The bathrooms were also clean and well maintained too. These aren't the only perks either. The outside area is beautiful to sit and relax/eat while looking at the Mountain views.

Stopped to get fuel for my transportation device (SUV) before heading down the long black pathway…read more(road) to my destination! The pitstop was full of bipedal beings (humans) and their animal counterparts (pets) so I figured that I might as well let my four legged daughter (puppy) out to explore their animal cage with grass (dog park) We had just had a 4 day rain storm that flew into town and caused a couple fatalities with flash floods. Needless to say I was surprised to see a LAKE (overflow reservoir) at the pitstop. My daughter wanted to go play in the water. Even though it was cold outside! She had a blast!! It was the first time she has ever seen a lake! It was great fun! Elation ran through us like a lightening bolt!

We were starting to run out of gas when we saw the station and it was pretty dark and a country/highway road. The parking lot was very busy with lots of people who were not getting gas but were making beer runs. We almost got ran over in the parking lot while trying to walk inside to pay for the gas and back to the car....and yes we looked both ways before crossing.
