This work of Art is located in the ArtsPark located directly behind the Indianapolis Art Center. It is in the front of the park right next to the Center's building. The piece can be seen form the parking lot. It consist of 8 differing size slabs of limestone totaling 100 tons. he piece was the creation of Robert Stackhouse and Carol Mickett and was dedicated in 2004. I was really not feeling the piece. It is probably just not my taste. I do however, appreciate the time and skill that it took to create this piece.
Fun fact: Art Center visitors were encouraged to participate in the pieces construction by being allowed to use chisels and saws to create the columns. read more
