I am a very lactose intolerant, borderline dairy allergy (severe migraines from it) person, and I've been eating vegan ice cream from various places for nearly twenty years. When I tell you this was the best vegan cookie dough ice cream I've ever had, I'm being so serious, and I wish that I had taken a video of my reaction because I audibly gasped and said "oh my god" on the first bite. Besides all the fresh fruit and vegetables, they have jars of jellies and fresh herbs. Most of the items are locally sourced with some brought in from nearby states. One of the nice things they had was pre-sliced watermelon ... so one doesn't have to buy a whole watermelon and can just get a small quarter or half for a smaller family. Their corn was excellent, and it is in perfect season right now. All-in-all this place was a winner. The people running the place are very nice and keep everything moving.
