You scan your room key and punch in your floor number and you are assigned an elevator. It makes it safer that you don't have to share an elevator. Only a couple of times did we have to share an elevator but most of the time it'll just be for you. The room was clean and large enough for both of us to be comfortable and have our own space. Keep in mind that the two beds are doubles and not queens. The only weird thing was that they gave you three bath towels instead of four. Definitely use the extra pillow in the closet because each bed only has two pillows. Also be aware that they do not have any water provided in the room unless you want to pay four dollars each. There is a drugstore literally feet from the hotel that you can buy water at to stock your room. There is also a refrigerator so you can keep things cool. There are also IGA grocery stores located about a 10 to 15 minute walk away in a couple different directions. There's a Starbucks located in the lobby that opens at 5:30 AM Monday through Friday, which is very convenient. There is a Tim Hortons literal steps from the entrance in case you'd rather have that. I wasn't super impressed with that. We both thought Starbucks had better coffee. Check in and check out was a breeze. We didn't have to wait in any line. All my questions that I had for guest service were answered promptly. There is a great restaurant which is a hidden a gem on the second floor. We ate dinner there three times. It was really good and we were the first ones there each night when they opened. Service was great in the hotel and at the restaurant. The employees were very nice. There is a room on the second floor near the pool that has a TV, games, couches, and most importantly, FREE coffee and snacks that I discovered on my last night there!!! It was too late for me to take advantage of, but hopefully you can use it! Someone had mentioned in a previous review that the air conditioning didn't work great. I just want to say that the air conditioning in our room worked wonderful and we had no complaints about it. The nice thing is it also has a fan that you can set to run all the time to block out the noise from the neighbors. Make sure to ask for a quiet room away from other guests. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again .

The pool and gym require a walk over to the nearby Sheraton. We also found that with Uber, it's best to go over to Sheraton for pickup and drop off as the algorithm can't seem to comprehend 1080 Hornby Street. 2. Even with AC within this hot Vancouver week, the Condo was stuffy and required multiple fans to help with overall comfort. 3. This Condo had no balcony or other outdoor hangout option, other than finding a local park.

We entered and there was a washer and dryer, and a large closet that had the broom and a fan. I think the safe was also in the closet. The kitchen space was great to have a full sized fridge, stove, coffee maker, and lots of pots and pans and utensils. This was very convenient as we went to get groceries for breakfast every day. The seating area had a tv, and counter place for when we ate. It wasn't big and there was no dining table but it was sufficient. There was also a temperature control in this space. Both bedrooms were spacious with one having large windows with great views of downtown. The other room had a small window. There were 2 bathrooms, and one that was in the area of the smaller bedroom. The other bathroom was spacious. There's a parkade and it's secure requiring the room key to enter and exit, and also enter the elevator. We didn't have an issue to find a parking space during our stay. During our stay, they were were accommodating when we requested more coffee, paper towels, and laundry pods. The only complaints I have were that it could get noisy from all the sirens in the night, and that our bedroom could get cold at night. Otherwise, everything about this place was great! There's a games room with a ping pong table, pool table, and many books. The location was also great and convenient to be downtown.

The lobby area does suck but i didn't spend much time there. Overall, it was a 9.5/10 experience. I caught myself just hanging on the balcony looking at the city and mountains. Vancouver's expensive. For a total of $414 after tax and two nights of parking, we got something comparable to a better three-star hotel or extended stay suite. However, for this price, we got a pretty large, rather newly refurbished room with double queen, microwave, fridge, little balcony with an ashtray (rooms are No Smoking), iron, and little toiletries. The counter and cleaning staff, as someone mentioned, are extremely friendly and indefatigable. Idiotic tourists upon tourists were asking for directions to places which are a figment of their imagination or are in a completely different city, and the forever smiling counter staff were looking things up on maps, making bookings and reservations. One staff even double checked with another hotel down the street to see if they had availability when someone walked in and found the Park Inn to be fully booked. Our cleaning lady even called us instead of knocking, knowing we were in the room and had the DO NOT DISTURB sign (we were looking at a drunk person talk to his umbrella on the street outside our window and didn't want to be disturbed). The hotel is also extremely convenient, with mass rapid transit everywhere. It's also a short walk to False Creek and Granville Island. My only gripe was that we checked in around 5pm and were given a room right across from the elevator. We were finally put in a room wayyy on the other side of the elevator with a balcony facing Broadway on the 2nd floor. While I enjoyed the drama that is "The Saga of Tim Horton's & the Desperate People With No Taste Buds Who Frequent It, Including Myself" unfolding in front of my eyes everyday, the street noise - in the form of buses, crotchety middle-agers spilling out of the pub next door, homeless people talking to their umbrellas - was very noticeable, especially on the weekends. Originally an apartment block, when erected in 1913 it was tallest building in Vancouver and attracted affluent tenants. Converted to an hotel during the Great Depression, many of the apartments were reconfigured into rooms to provide accommodation for merchant seamen from ships anchored in English Bay. We had two visits there, each of two days, on a trip around Canada. On the plus side, the location is great, staff lovely (helpful, efficient and friendly), and everything was clean. Our room had lovely towels, and good power in the shower, and had a very comfortable bed. The restaurant (where we purchased breakfast) is surprisingly affordable for a hotel and good for evening meals as well as breakfast. The only downsides are that some of the rooms (ours included) are a little on the small side (especially compared with the North American average), and it was wwarmer than expected on our visit, and the lack of air conditioning meant the room was warm and little stuffy; we could not leave the window open as street noise from the bars and restaurants behind was a little too much. Overall, we liked the hotel but the lack of air-conditioning means that for another summer visit we would probably go elsewhere. But it would nice and cosy in winter.

But it looked busy. There was live music. You can also sit outside and the patio is dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in guest rooms too. Staff very friendly, particularly the cleaning folks. Our room was serviced daily even tho I didn't request it. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bike rental nearby. Parking is $25 per night.

The living room looks super cozy -- love the pop of red from the cushions and the new artwork on the wall. There's a bathroom followed by a little kitchen area, and I was impressed that the drawers and cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and cooking tools. Super handy if you want to eat in. The bedroom is in the back and has a nice city view from the window. It can get a bit noisy in the hallway at night since the doors to neighboring rooms are pretty close, but because the bedroom is farther inside, I didn't really hear much once I was in bed. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay in downtown Vancouver. Great location and solid value -- I'd totally come back again.

I wasn't a big fan of the eggs as they were extremely runny but its kind of interesting they put steak sauce over it, maybe its a Canada thing? Oh and the breakfast is complimentary might I add. Overall, honestly what a great stay in Vancouver especially given the room size, amenities, and cleanliness. I will definitely come back to stay here if I'm ever back in the city.
