Okay this place rocks! It's basically a really good dessert shop however when you first walk in they also have various products from other small businesses available. Going from memory there's a maple syrup stand from a local farm, some wooden signs that hang is decoration in your kitchen or home which I believe you can order custom made from that particular small business, doggie treats, and a few other things I'm forgetting but this will give you a reason to stop in and look for yourself. No for the good part, the desserts. Everything made right there from scratch and everything very delicious. You get a piece of cake from this place and it's almost big enough to be considered a meal. Prices are not too bad for the amount of product they give you. She also carries a very good selection of gluten-free desserts that quite honestly do not taste like they are gluten free. There's been a couple times that she will have something that sounds really good but my first thought was oh crap it's gluten free it's not going to taste as good. This is definitely not accurate. If you didn't know it you would never guess it. She also does special orders, cake decorating is unbelievable. During the correct time of year she also sells girl scout cookies from a local troop, and now that I mentioned that she has a thin mint cookie cake from time to time that is super delicious. Cannolis are filled to order so they're not soggy, and oddly enough one of the more important things on my list when I'm in there lately is a cup of coffee. I am so happy we found this awesome bakery in our little town! I had 2 special requests, and Michelle did wonders! One of the requests was for a vegan dessert. We came through on a road trip for bubble tea a few days ago. The flavors were fun - I tried the kumquat lemon and he had taro milk tea. The boba was over cooked - a tip to the owners might be to cut the boiling time in half. There are delicious and unique cupcakes that are rotated every week. We were fortunate to taste the strawberry balsamic and basil cupcake. He didn't care for it, but I thought it was scrumptious! I am most impressed that there's a sign in the washroom that states if you need feminine products, to simply ask the staff. The owner of Confection Connection really knows her stuff, and is a terrific cook. Her prices are reasonable and we definately wel buy her delectable goods often! I'm so happy about this treat shop! We had the most scrumptous and moist cheesy bagel (added whipped cream cheese she provided, but she was right, it didn't need it). It was huge and filling. If you know anything about keto foods...it certainly didn't taste keto. The soft chocolate chip cookies were brimming with chips and fantastic. We also had a lemon mousse that was just the right amount of lemony with a wonderfully thick consistency. She sweetens with stevia and knows all of her carb counts, so we could eat without concerns.
