During our kitchen remodel we searched and researched for the best tile company to upgrade our home. The minute we entered the showroom in Sterling we were greeted with professional and a caring crew of ladies. Tracy and Rhonda were the first to help us. Between the two they helped up pick out the perfect tile. But wait. It gets better. After the crew we hired to install our tile was almost finished, they warned us on a Friday that there would not be enough tile for finish the job. It was too late to notify Conestoga Tile as they had already closed. So Saturday morning my wife and I formed the only plan we had available and a lot of that would be luck if it were to work out. So we made sure we were at the front door on Saturday morning and we pleaded our case. "Help" "We ran out of tile". So they gathered together to figure out how they could help us. There was no way to order tile on a Saturday. We would have to wait until Monday and the order probably would not arrive until Tuesday or Wed. So Tracy and Rhonda began to brainstorm. They called the other showroom they have in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. They warned us the chances were slim they would have another 22 square feet of the tile we need just hanging around the show room. Well, they called up and the ladies up there also gathered together to see how they could help. So they told Tracy to hold on. 10 minutes later they got back on the phone and said they found 10 pieces of 24 x 12 (our exact size) laying around !. IT WAS ON!! We had to jump into the truck and haul ass up to PA, pick up the tile, turn immediately around and make the tile available for the installers. It was a 2 hour drive up and a 2 hour drive back. We were SO HAPPY mission accomplished. This would not have been possible without the help of the Sterling Ladies, Tracy, Rhonda, and Kristin. This would not ahve been possible without the help of the Harrisburg Ladies. They are Linda, Lizzy, Lydia and Kristal. Thanks to these crews, we are still on schedule. We visited the showroom about 6 weeks before our bathroom project was to begin. We picked tile and were told not to bother ordering too far in advance since it was a stock item with two day turnaround. We told our contractor this. Our contractor ordered ten days before our project began. Two days before he started our work, he called Conestoga and was told the tile had not arrived- it would be on the next truck. Next day, same story. Third day of project- no tile. Conestoga finally admits they never ordered it. Thursday before Labor Day, our contractor leaves because he has no tile. Project is now going to be at least ten days overdue with our home partially ripped up and guests on the way in a few days. Thanks Conestoga. Unless you plan to pester them daily for your tile, go somewhere else to buy tile! Don't believe anything they say about delivery, availability or turnaround. read more

We are building our home, we have 3 bathrooms and a kitchen that will need tile. After the experience we had last night at the Harrisburg, PA location, we will NOT be purchasing our tile from here. This was by far the Worst customer service we have received during the whole home building process. We were laughed at when we requested a specific looking tile, got no direction from the representatives, and the statement "Do you really expect us to know that" actually came out of the representatives mouth, followed by more laughs.
