    The meals served on condor airlines are awful, probably the worst I've ever had for international flights, high carbs and often cold meals. Most attendants weren't very friendly, even worse is the the descending process for landing was pretty rough too, people get serious motion sickness afterwards.

    My mom was supposed to fly from Salt Lake City to Dubai. She developed severe pancreaitis about a couple of months before the actual flight and we figured she would not be in a condition to to take a long haul flight for some time to come. I tried to get in touch with Condor customer service to cancel the ticket and inquire about refunds on grounds of medical emergency. The first agent I spoke to, hung up on me after I tried to direct him to Condor's own refunds policy page. Then I tried to get to customer service using their WhatsApp chat feature. My advice - do not waste time with this. I was given a wait time of 60 minutes. The agent got in touch after more than 2 hours and didn't have the decency to stay on the chat for more than 2 minutes. I saw their message 3 minutes late and by that time the agent had already dropped the chat. And I got another wait time of 110 minutes. I again tried getting in touch with the customer service and this time it was a lady who let me know that I would not get any refund on my ticket since it was economy. She was impolite and apathetic for the entire duration of the call. Kept cutting me off while I was speaking and had the audacity to say if I had read the terms and conditions on the ticket I would not have wasted time calling customer service. I have spoken to a lot of customer service representatives before this but haven't had a worse experience. It felt like Condor trains their customer reps to be rude and obtuse to clients. And to hide behind the excuse that we're a budget airline, would be absolutely farcical because the amount we paid for an economy ticket was no way cheap. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

    Flying back from Dominican Republic, I was charged for overweight, which was expected. However, what was not expected was to then the offered an upgrade to Priority, which would allow for the extra weight and was not offered a refund for my pay of the extra weight before the upgrade. I feel that if the option had been given before I was charged, I would have saved almost $200 which was what I was charged. I think that the airline ticket agent should have given the option to upgrade before charging me. Then the seats we received had fresh urine from someone on the previous flight covering two seats. There was no option in the Priority section we had to upgraded to. I find this to be unacceptable since the cost of the extra weight and the subsequent upgrade was nearly $500. I should be refunded the cost of either the upgraded to Priority or the overweight charge before the upgrade!

    If you have ever flown Spirit Airlines, Condor will feel very familiar. I flew Spirit ONCE and never again. This is definitely going to be the case for this crappy, uncomfortable flight from Frankfurt to Boston. My original seat - in the middle of the plane- not what I had chosen -was completely broken. It would not stay in the upright position. If they have broken seats, what else is broken? They moved me and my daughter to 2 seats still in the middle of the plane, but at least it worked. That's sad when that is your baseline. I flew Delta over and had to book return separately. Wish I had read reviews before choosing a cheap, unprofessional airline. Just landed and ETA, the second seat was also broken, with no tray table. I had to share the tray in front of my daughter. Luckily, our food was only on the tray for a very short time because we literally threw it away uneaten. The offering was potato salad and pasta. I'm not kidding. See the disgusting picture below. You can also see my broken chair and how my movie included unfixable Arabic (?) subtitles the whole time. Generally unpleasant flight attendants and no toilet paper in at least 2 restrooms after 1/2 the flight was an added repulsive bonus. Terrible. Do not fly them!!!

    I travel a lot and I have to say Condor Airlines has been by far the best experience I have ever had. My family and I flew with them from FRA-BWI on May 22, 2024, flight DE2074. I was only able to get the names of the two flight attendants that were in our section, Ariane De Robillard, and Alexandra Töpfes-Hopfgartner, and all the others were amazing. The customer service they all provided was above and beyond my expectations. Although we were in economy plus, the service and attention to detail they provided us was better than any service we have received on other airlines in business or first class. I have requested gluten free meals in advance on United and Lufthansa and they have all failed sorely from not having a meal available on a long haul overseas to telling me to wait until first class finishes eating to see if there are leftovers to accommodate me. On Condor, they were right on point. From the moment we got on board we were warmly greeted and I was reassured that they had a hot gluten free meal ready for me. They also had plenty of fruit and snacks and cheeses. The lunch meal was a fresh tasting, hot goulash with mashed potatoes. A rice pudding dessert, hot coffee, and rye bread with Brie. The flight attendants were uber courteous and very attentive. They took time to talk to everyone and there was never a need to press the call button because they made sure everyone was cozy with extra drinks, water, coffee, blankets, pillows, eye masks, socks, toiletries. They were always smiling and in a good mood and made you feel at home. There were some extra seats open and they invited us to get all cozy in the extra rows to ourselves to sleep and stretch out. I honestly can't say I ever had a better experience than this flying domestic or international. The attention to customer service is what made the difference to me. I plan to fly with them any chance I get. Also of note the roominess and comfortableness of the seats were great, much better than Delta, American, United or Lufthansa economy plus. The prices were very reasonable too.

All of these mergers have been good for the airlines, but well... me'h for the rest of us fliers. I've been through Frankfurt (am Main) a few times, but never on United. Always on Lufthansa. The ease of getting through the airport was pretty good. But they have this weird, pick you out of the crowd setup, in a corridor leading up to their Gate. I guess if you look, um American, they grab you for additional security. On the other hand, the ease of boarding was pretty good. Their flight personal were both relaxed and friendly. They certainly worked hard at keeping the stress levels to a minimum, which was great. Seats in all classes were pretty good, too. They were much better than that other Atlanta based carrier, which charges you for Business without really giving delivering the seats, or the experience. United, you did so many things well. The entire experience embodies the epitome of German luxury, efficiency, and accuracy. When my taxi pulled into the private driveway, I was immediately greeted by a staff member (who had "PhD" on her nametag!) who walked me inside and through security. Let me tell you, the security process was the smoothest I'd ever gone through! Then it was a quick ride up an elevator into the sprawling main lounge area. From left to right, there was a spacious business center, lounging area, full bar, restaurant, cigar/smoker's lounge, sleeping rooms, bath suites, and restrooms. I understand the bar has one of the greatest whiskey collections on the planet, though I went for a nice Cuba Libre to go with my stogies after breakfast. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and kitchen-prepared meals. I ordered an Eggs Benedict and helped myself to the nice selection of buffet items. Delish on all counts! When it was time to go, I found my guide who then took me downstairs to the immigration desk and a VERY nice Porsche SUV where the driver took me through the labyrinth of roads under the airport terminal and to my flight. He even escorted me right to the plane's door! I will never forget this experience, and I sure hope to be able to do it again.

Das Highlight jedes LH First trips ist natürlich das First Class Terminal in Frankfurt. Hier ist die Welt noch in Ordnung. Abgeschottet vom normalen Flughafenterminal wird man hier nach wie vor vom Flieger abgeholt und hingebracht. Die Sicherheitskontrolle ist freundlich, hilfreich und es gibt keine Schlange. Der Concierge kümmert sich um Passkontrolle und Einreisepapiere. In der Lounge gibt es mehrere Zonen in denen immer reichlich Platz ist, Liegestühle, Sessel mit Fußstuhl, Sitzecken, Fernsehsessel und die Zigarrenlounge. Die Bar ist sehr gut mit bestem Scotch bestückt, kann fast alle Cocktails machen und hat eine Espresso Machine. Das Restaurant hat immer gute Gerichte auf der Karte mit Saisonangeboten, ein gutes Buffet und sehr guten Service. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit ordentlichem Bett und der Badbereich hat gute Duschen. Natürlich darf man die Quietsche Enten nicht vergessen. Es gibt ständig neue Enten und sie werden heiß gesammelt.
