This place is very much "over the top", and my only disappointment was with the wine list (no affordable selections highlighting this strong region for local reds and whites).
Definitely aim to get one of the 6 seats with a view of the kitchen and you may end up having lots of opportunities to interact with the chef, as we did.
There are 2 menus: long and extra long. We went with the longest one, and it took about 3 hours, but what a wild ride of inventive dishes (I believe the chef from the famous and now closed "el Bulli" in Spain has some involvement with this operation).
Loved the table side preparation of the quail en croute, and the wagyu. Also loved the idea of changing rooms for desserts.
An expensive night out, but not bad for a fine Michelin meal in the heart of a major city. read more
