This is not my first build, but it will likely be my last; so I have asked MANY questions, and made multiple plan revisions based on what I wished I had done in my prior homes. Christine is very patient and always lets me know that nothing I ask is too much trouble. On each and every one of my interactions with the Gainesville center they have excelled in customer service and satisfaction. When my home is complete, it will be the one I envisioned if I could have built it myself, but didn't have to. I will follow up on this review when I am in my new home. I expect that this dream team will continue to provide the type of service I have experienced thus far. Building a new home can be an expensive proposition. AHP has worked with me to obtain the best prices for great services; "you get what you pay for" is a mantra my husband has stated many times. But I have been pleasantly surprised at the cost of making my new home everything I can imagine and enjoy. For perspective, I lost my husband a few years ago, which makes this the first new home purchase I have done without him. Additionally, this build is different from any we ever did together. The pre-build complications related to obtaining the land to build on was noted by an outside expert, to be the most difficult amount and type necessary steps to make this build a reality. I have learned so much through each new phase from Christine, who also has a list of very capable experts in their field, outside of AHP, to walk me through each part of those processes. Throughout these additional steps, both, AHP and the people they have recommended have made me feel like I am their only customer; it feels like I'm planning my home build with a friend. Recently, the Gainesville AHP office held a construction event to provide an opportunity to view the quality of the build, and to ask questions related to the customer's specific vision. The event was well staffed and questions were fielded by the appropriate experts. Additionally, the family who purchased the home was also present, and gave AHP rave reviews of the entire process. But there was a specific comment the husband made that stayed with me. He said this home exceeded their expectations, and that when they are ready to build their next home, they would be using AHP again. You can't get any better recommendation than that. Work ethic is a key element in any relationship, and my experience with Christine and Mark continues to demonstrate that the bar is set high. Another perk of going with AHP to build a home is the large number of different home types and floor plans they offer to choose from. Even with the many choices, they also encourage their customers to include revisions to meet what they desire in the final product; this company is anything but cookie-cutter. Their flexibility and attention to detail validated my choice in selecting America's Home Place as the builder of my new home. They are an industry "Best Practice" model. Thank you.
