He promised time and time again to send someone out to repair the floor but it never happened. I've decided that it's time to move in another direction. I was extremely disappointed with Alex and Trimelogic. My small cottage remodel began in the end of…read moreAugust 2025 and was due to be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. By the end of March 2026, it had not been completed, and I fired Alex and his crew and got another group to finish the work. Much of what was done on my screened-in porch had to be removed or corrected. None of the supporting post were plumb, overhead supports were not level, and the sanded plywood that was installed as a ceiling for my carport was attached with trim nails. Needless to say, the ceiling did not stay in place. As for the inside of my cottage, architectural plans were not followed and rooms were not built to the specified size. I have wall switches that do not activate anything. The plumbing of the sink underneath the kitchen and bath have such long hoses so that the space is hardly usable for storage. The LVP flooring has cracked and needs to be repaired in two rooms. The overall lack of communication and sometimes showing up to work caused tremendous hardship on me. Because the project was not finished by the projected date, I had to live with my daughter for six months, and reschedule delivery of appliances. I found Alex to be overtly pleasant, but he did not listen to my concerns, built things the way he wanted to do them in spite of the architectural drawings, and provided many many excuses for why he did not show up on time. For example, he didn't work on one particular day and when I texted him to ask, why, he said they weren't coming because he didn't like the look of the sky. Although there were clouds, it never rained at the job site. Another issue of concern is that Alex did not get a to do the . As a contractor, I was under the impression he took care of all of the for the remodel and addition of the porch. My new crew had just begun working when a code enforcer drove up and said that all Work had to stop. The office had received an anonymous phone call saying that I was doing construction without proper permits. My new contractor took care of this problem that very day. I find it extremely odd that anyone could see what was going on at my house since I am surrounded by trees, and there's no way to see my house as cars drive-by. How would anybody know that a permit had not been granted when I didn't even know that?

Tracy Tesmer Design and Remodeling was a wonderful experience. I am truly thankful I called for…read moretheir services. They are not only professional at what they do but also reliable and dependable. I've had 1/4 of my house remodeled and added an 3 story elevator for my wheelchair access. I'll admit I'm also a perfectionist. I highly recommend TTDR. Each project has been completed to specs, on time and within budget - except where I made additions or last minute changes. There is a reason they are ranked best in the area 13 years in a row. They offered me a very reasonable quote, the end result, exceeded my expectations and will call upon them in the future.

As things were stripped away, it became clear that our home needed a lot more than we expected. Unfortunately, we were left wanting with our initial contractor. I would find myself sitting in a bare bone, skeleton of my family home in tears (very often) because of my frustration and scared that it would never come together the way I envisioned; forever sitting "unfinished" and devastated. In the middle of my mess, I completed an online search for contractors. And shortly after, Tracy Tesmer Design & Remodeling saved my family home and helped us to bring every detail of what we wanted to fruition. Over the course of several months, we watched my family home transform. The professionalism of the project team was amazing! From the design phase to the completion, we were consistently impressed with the hard work, professionalism, and efficiency of the sub-contractors and the implementation of various phases of the remodel managed by our project manager (who always placed our best interest first). The design of the interior palette was easy and not overwhelming as I feared it would be! We knew what we wanted, and the designer made it easy for us to choose our paint, counter tops, and cabinets by narrowing down our choices based on our expressed desire. I truly cannot say enough to convey how impressed, appreciative, grateful, and thankful I am for Tracy Tesmer and his amazing team!

Imagination stepped up to finish the work and what a difference! They had many "work around" situations that had to be repaired and were able to fix things without having to tear everything out and start over. The daily site supervision kept everything flowing smoothly and moving forward so they were even able to finish ahead of schedule. When needed, Cameron and Ray both jumped in to do work themselves. They treated our home like their own. The quality of their work was outstanding and at the end of the job, Cameron stopped by to make sure we were completely satisfied. Definitely a class act company and we highly recommend using them!

The initial consultation was straightforward and he brought samples which were helpful. He did a great job listening and quoting for the work I asked for. He worked with my budget and overall was easy to work with. I had some challenges with his team's arrival times not being consistent, and the timeline seemed to take longer than originally expected, but these things happen during renovations and in the end wasn't a huge deal. The entire project took about a week. The final fit and finish were well done, the grout work and glass install were clean and impeccably installed. Finally, a small issue we found with the install was addressed in a timely manner.

We live in an older, historic home and wanted an updated kitchen that still felt like it belonged in the house. The KDO team understood that from the start and helped us choose cabinets, countertops, lighting, and hardware that worked beautifully together. Having their guidance made all those decisions much less overwhelming. The finished kitchen is beautiful, comfortable, and so much easier to use.
