The only roofing partner I trust as a builder…read more John B. and the team at Atlas have been tremendous to work with. As a builder, I've worked with countless crews, but Atlas stands apart. They are professional, punctual, and maintain a clean job site--which is rare to find. John is extremely respectful of the workspace, manages materials efficiently to avoid waste, and offers insightful suggestions whenever a challenge arises. We recently tackled a complex project: an old house with a collapsing roof. John and his team didn't just "patch" it; they rebuilt the entire structure, including all ceiling joists and rafters. Their expertise goes far beyond simple shingle work. They are great folks to work with, and they are the only call I make for my roofing needs.

Our job was going to be approximately 50 yds initially, but due to a miss calculation on their part and his crew demolishing sections that weren't quoted, it wound up being approximately 72 yds. This caused an increase in price. Their work is not as described, and they don't follow their on company mission statement. The crew and Brayan (representative) doesn't respect the home owners property. They treat it like a new build by leaving trash laying in the yard, leaving wood on the front lawn for days, cleaning their equipment in my yard leaving shards of concrete material in my grass instead of the street. Brayan doesn't respect the home owners request, example: I asked them not to leave the rebar from the demo laying in my front yard, to place it in the street. Brayan told me that he would have the trailer there to get it, the trailer never showed. I started moving it to the curb after sitting in my front yard for 3-4 days. Communication is a problem, limited use of English. There are more issues... My pour was about a month ago and the job hasn't been completed. Poor performance in showing as agreed. Poor follow up. Discolored pour. They didn't use anything to cover my brickwork, to limit the splatter from the pour. What I've learned, my advise is not to choose them. Look at their review on Networx.com.

Two gentlemen promptly arrived and got on the roof. To our surprise, instead of trying to sell them a new roof, they were honest and said a shingle was loose. The process was super easy, they were available any time I had questions and they did a great job. The crew cleaned up the yard really well when done taking the time to put things where they were before (or at least close enough that some fine tuning by me wasn't a problem). I would recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing company to do work or just give an inspection. I dealt with Stuart Lawyer and his number is (205)337-4911 or their office at (205) 974-8500. Vanya the pup however was really happy to see them leave. :-)
