We hired Richfield black top and concrete for steps and a driveway section…read more First they tore out, then they replaced the steps 90 degrees off some how. Even though the crew had the company's drawing. They did tear these out and replace them but not without complaint and attempted blame shifting. Then they replaced a large portion of our driveway and it flaked, peeled, and spaled the first winter .No salt was used on it and it saw little actual traffic. They did replace 1/2 of this area at no charge however it is just as bad now. Again no salt and minimal traffic. They did ask us what we think caused it..IDK they are the "experts" They have instructed us to pressure wash and seal the affected area. This "concrete" is not solid enough to withstand much washing... In the end we wasted our home improvement dollars on sub par quality that will not hold up at all. A very poor choice on our part. Had planed on more word for them , but that seems like a stupid move..

Third, I sat in my lawn chair and watched the entire installation of my new driveway. The personal pride and attention to every little detail was amazing. The entire crew appeared to be "perfectionists". The roller operator must have gone over the driveway 10-12 times. He even got off his machine once to hand pick-up small pieces of asphalt that had gotten on the top skirt of the driveway. Fourth, my neighbor got a new driveway a few days later by a different company. I asked him if he would share how much he paid. It was $3,100 more than I paid for about the same sized driveway! This amount was in line with a number of the bids I had received. Can't go wrong here!!

Great company and great work!…read more I hired Trinity Landscaping and Excavating to tear out my driveway and sidewalk, pour new concrete driveway, pour new sidewalk, re-grade all around my house, put my downspouts in ground, and pour new concrete sidewalk around my house. The job from start to finish was very professional and went above and beyond. Mid project I threw him a curve ball by asking to add my driveway skirt to the project and to widen the sidewalk and with these unexpected changes I thought might create problems or add to the project timeframe but he was able to get both done and pull permit for driveway skirt and both look great and project was still done on time! I would give them six stars if that was an option. Great company, great work, project completed in time promised and I would for sure recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

DISAPPOINTED! Bryan came out for the original estimate. We talked about not damaging the paver…read moredriveway we have, sloping the concrete away from the home and other details. Before the project began he asked for more money to ensure he did not damage the driveway. This should have been a red flag but after stating we talked about not damaging the driveway and that should have been in your quote we moved forward. I reminded his foreman the concrete must slope away from the home. After job completion it was pretty clear the concrete was not sloped properly. Micah his foreman assured me it was. After the stain dried I put a level on the concrete and it is indeed pitching at my house. That was over a month ago. No resolution and a " stamped concrete has irregularities " is where we are at. They have $5,916.00 and the work was not done correctly. Buyer BEWARE! I am seeking a solution still but at this point I do not trust they will do what they say they are going to do.

From start to finish, the team was great to work with. Communication was clear and consistent, the project was completed on time, and they did a great job keeping everything moving without sacrificing the quality of the work. The difference in the property is night and day. The new siding and windows completely transformed the exterior, and everything looks beautiful. You can tell they take pride in the finished product and pay attention to the details. Overall, we had a great experience with Prominent and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for siding, windows, roofing, or other exterior work in the Twin Cities. Great communication, quality workmanship, and a finished product we're extremely happy with.

Nothing but the facts and no opinion!…read more Scheduled job to start work 3 months after first meeting. Roofing, siding, gutters and additional building. We were told the roofers would use an elevated collection bin for the roofing to avoid damaging the landscaping and surrounding area. Didn't happen. Roofing was completed, driveway and landscaping were damaged. Asked about the schedule for siding, gutters and additional building. No answer. Month later part of the side was done, the contractor loaded up the remaining new box of siding and left. Notified Prominent immediately what was happening but nothing was done. Hired a lawyer who sent a letter to Prominent but neither him or I received a response. My attorney said for me to "keep track of every call/text/email". Two months later the remaining wall was sided but not without damaging our water feature in the landscape. The gutters were to be completed just a couple days after the siding but didn't happen for another two months. We had seamless gutters and the replacement gutters were apparently seamless but used prefabricated corners which created seams. Not what we had. Took another month before addressing the additional building. Well over 50 text/emails and over 40 calls in order to get the job done. Lots of no answers, misinformation, and extreme frustration.

Unbeknownst to me, he placed his full cup of coffee from the fast-food joint on the top of the car. I then drove the car up my new driveway over the rise and into the garage. Husband watched as I drove with his cup on the roof of the car, waiting for disaster. When I parked, he retrieved the coffee cup from the top of the car, intact, and noticed that not a drop was spilled! Woo-hoo! Joe and his team (Blacktop Pro's) talked to me throughout the process to make sure the driveway was done the way I wanted it (there were a few quirks to work around). The neighborhood kids enjoyed watching the parade of heavy equipment come down the street to my house, too, which meant that the crew was well-supervised by the four-foot high (and shorter) onlookers ;). I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.
