It started off good but as the night got busy it was clear the bar girls where overwhelmed and didn't know how to manage the customers. I watched a guy stand at the bar trying to flag down a bartender for over 25 minutes only to be given the hold on a second finger from multiple bartender's. When he was finally served he was rightfully upset and one of the bar tenders had the nerve to tell the bouncer she didn't appreciate his attitude. I don't know if they tried to kick him out but if they did this place needs to take some accountability for its bartenders and how they treat customers. You can't be mad at the customer and kick them out for waiting. Lastly I observed multiple bartenders just talking amongst themselves while everyone to my left and my right to include myself had an empty glass and absolutely no one came by to see if we wanted anything. Management if you are looking for a reason why your profit margins are dropping look no further then getting your staff in order. Aside from that I had a good time with the people I brought with me only because we don't need much to enjoy each others company. The food is terrible, the vibe is loud, the drinks are awful. The service was nice I suppose but that's about it. To give you a specific example of badness at this place, I wasn't feeling like having a beer so I ordered an Old Fashioned. Last night a friend and I decided to try this establishment for the first time and it was an embarrassing and horrible experience. I was shocked by the way I was treated at this establishment. The doorman accused me of having a fake ID, despite it being a valid government-issued ID. I understand that checking identification is part of the job, but there is a respectful way to handle those situations. Instead of explaining his concerns professionally and scanning my ID, he became confrontational...yelling, cursing and told me to "get the f*** out of my line." I have no issue with businesses enforcing their policies, but there is no excuse for treating customers with such disrespect. Being denied entry wasn't the issue the complete lack of professionalism was. If this is how customers are treated, management should seriously reconsider who they have representing their business at the front door. Respect costs nothing. The bouncer decided to push his way into the women's restroom and forcefully grabbed my arm while I was next to the sink and tried to drag me out, my husband had to bust in to get him to let go of me. I went here with some friends for the Texas OSU game. There is a free parking garage attached on the backside. They do play the sound for the game and music during commercials which I appreciate but they are not very consistent at turning the game sound back on when the commercials are over. Had a few Jameson's $12.00 each which is typical for the area. The table was so sticky even after it was wiped down with a towel that we literally put napkins down on the table as no one wanted to touch it. They explained that they are a club at night... which is fine but you still need to clean your tables lol. I was starving and did end up getting their Egg Sandwich with hashbrowns $15.00. This surprised me as it was actually pretty good. It came out open faced but had an egg on both so I ate it like toast. The hashbrowns had almost no browning in them at all though. The service was also inconsistent but I figured it would be at a place like this. Our server sometimes disappeared randomly and was terrible at pre-bussing our table. I am pretty sure I had a completely empty drink at least 5 times. My favorite part was that the manager stopped by and I asked for more water and he literally did not even acknowledge me at all, obviously did not get more water. That said I have only ever been here when not crowded and its mind boggling how long it takes them to get your order, next drink etc. This was not a one off either 5 plus times. They attempted to confiscate my friend's valid, state-issued ID, and instead of owning their mistake, they escalated the situation by calling the police. all to "verify" an ID that was clearly authentic. First time to visit any restaurant at the famous The Star! Called the day before to confirm location and parking. Had to leave a message. Never heard back. Figured out on Wayz and found a parking garage. Called from there. Left a message. It's now going on 3 hours later. Not a word. Three of us went for lunch.
