I've always noticed this place while hanging out at The Star but never knew exactly how to get to it. It turns out you just take the escalator up to the 2nd floor and there it is. Kind of hidden, but worth finding. They've got a solid beer selection with plenty of options, and I really liked the outdoor seating. It's a great spot to just chill, people-watch, and enjoy the atmosphere around The Star. Inside has a good vibe too, not overly loud, and the service was on point. Overall, a cool little hangout if you want a break from the busier spots downstairs.

Fun vibe for a watch party, but service needs work! I came with a few friends for Concrete Cowboy's Love Island watch party. The energy was great, and the big screens made it a perfect spot to catch the drama unfold. That said, the service left a lot to be desired. It took ages to seat us despite having a reservation, and once we were finally at our table, it took even longer to get it cleaned and it was still sticky. We started with the Mac & Cheese Squares--super tasty! Loved the hatch green chiles and the sriracha ranch for a little kick. At $9 on the happy hour menu, they're a steal. For drinks, I ordered the Concrete Cosmo, which was delish--definitely get it if you're a passionfruit fan. I had the Impossible Burger for my main, which was just okay. Nothing special! TL;DR: Great atmosphere and happy hour bites, but slow, disorganized service. Worth it for the fun vibes and screens if you're going for an event!

came here for drinks with friends! the guavarita was super yummy, they could go a lil heavier on the alcohol for sure but it was absolutely delicious!! friends got the jumbo espresso martini and the jumbo mexican mule which I tried super yummy!

Highly recommend splitting the sampler platter and coming in Sunday afternoon while less crowded. Everything is great, including service.

Had a good time dining at Concrete Cowboy again. Once we were frisked at the door by two cool young men. We walked in, told the hostess How many were in our party. She gave us the choices, We chose to have a table not the bar. Zoey was our server an she was thee best. She was experienced, nice, friendly, funny, attentive, and overall her hospitality was on point. Food :our Fried pickles were more saltier than I'd expected but that's a Texas thing with everything extra salty. I'll definitely request for No extra seasonings if I ever order them as an appetizer again. They were out of a number of drink options. Overall I'll return, and recommend to friends.

Hi just wondering if your gonna be open for the early nfl game sunday at 8:30 ?Bears -Jacksonville

    Not sure

    Is the patio dog friendly?

How much is it to book a table with bottle service here?

In the 4-5 times I have been here it is more of a fun restaurant/bar and not a bottle service club. But I confess to not staying that late- so things might change. We always had prompt service of an array of drinks for a reasonable price.

Walk in via J Theodore, the ohone booth is to the left. It's a cool novelty calling with a book name to enter via the book shelf. Once inside the speak easy area there were two seating options. The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

We ended up order a variety of food and drinks. All of the food was great! From a timing perspective, we went on a Tuesday evening. While the venue was mostly empty in the main dining room and bar, the private room was full. This made service extremely slow. On the plus side, if you're there to hang out -- slow service isn't as bad with a good cocktail. The staff were very polite and friendly...just a little overworked in my opinion.

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.
