We hired Tim of Concrete Concepts & Design in November of 2016 to pour a stamped concrete patio and walkway for our backyard. It came out great and we were very happy with Tim's professionalism. Tim made sure that the job was done right and we were very pleased with the result (see covered patio and grill area photos). During the summer of 2017 we decided to expand the walkway and patio area and asked Tim to come back to do this job. I like to do some work myself, so I prepped the area and made it easier for Tim and his crew to come in and pour the patio extension. It came out great and I would recommend Concrete Concepts & Design to anyone. He did great work and takes pride in doing it right. In May of 2020 this company installed a pool deck with stairs that attach to our home. The cost of the deck was an out $15,000. I have invoices to support the amount. After completion of the deck, there was an overflow cap that was partially installed, they were supposed to come finish it after the summer season. That never happened. The following March, 2021, I reached out to the company because I noticed flaking, spalling and ask about the cover. I was told that there was an issue with the sealant used, happened to other clients, needed to find out how to remedy. After asking about the fix throughout that summer, it now became a story that he noticed the concrete flashing as it was being poured. He stated that he contacted ******************************* and they said it should be fine no real issues. I reached out again in October 2021 and he now said that he would have to rip out the whole thing the following spring. And that ****************************** was going to cover the cost of the concrete. Spring of 2022, I was horrified to see the flaking, s falling, substantially worse and Cracks throughout the deck. Was put off again, needed to talk to concrete company. I subsequently reached out to that concrete company to confirm that they were on board, and I got a very angry message that I messed everything up and they would have to work hard to mend that relationship. Tried to use this business the owner was not only rude and didn't get back to me but he did not even knowing me so I show him a screenshot of my job and him reaching out to me and he literally acted like a four-year-old child saying he was too busy to care. These are not good people then he seem to threaten me telling me if I have a problem let's meet in person LOL stay away from this ridiculously unprofessional company! read more

I have had multiple issues and problems with the service this "company" poorly performed! Wrong color, cracks in concrete within days of the initial pour, failure to complete the work and did not return the money I had already paid him to do some veneer work. Also, two of the reviews you see on yelp are from the owner and his wife. Other reviews are from friends and not actual customers. read more

Stellar work and a truly pleasurable experience. Tim and his crew are respectful, courteous, clean and timely. Very knowledgeable and hard workers. My only reason for sharing this review is to try to get attention from Tim and CCD so they will actually finish the job that we paid them to do. We had a great relationship with Tim and he poured a pool decking for us back in April / May 2021. Everything went as planned, the job was complete (outside of one small thing) and Tim committed to stopping by the next week to install the pour lid which was the very last thing. We paid the last check (HUGE MISTAKE) and planned to see Tim the following week. Not only did Tim never show up that following week but it's now been 1.5 years of failed commitments to get him to show up and finish the last piece of the job. Tim will say that he gave us a free poured lid as a favor and we are being jerks for bugging him about it. It's true that we never asked for the pour lid and it was offered by Tim. We do not care about the pour lid and just want Tim to finish the job, with or without a custom poured lid. Right now, he left us with a hole in our concrete; It's a trip hazard and looks terrible and it would not take him long to come to our house and just finish it / fix it. In the last month alone, he has told me he'd be out 5 different times and then he fails to show up, fails to communicate and I have to reach out again. We've been playing this game for an incredibly long time with many, many excuses on why he hasn't been able to finish the committed job. The best response that can be made on this situation is to get back to our house and just finish the job. read more

Company added a new concrete driveway for me, he did not grade a section correctly and now i have standing water when it rains he added a new driveway for me, but did not grade a section in front of my back door which now has standing water. he wants to put a drain in to fix the issue, i told him i did not pay over $10K to have a drain in my new driveway and have to deal with a clogged drain for the rest of my life, my kids life and my grand kids life told him to cut out a 4 x 4 ft section to regrade it which to me does not seem like a big issue. but he patched it with a 4 inch section and it did not work. i still owe him $1,000 which i refuse to pay him until the job is completed. but he still refuses. i have been more than reasonable with this company dealing with the below issues already: said job would take 2 weeks max, has been over 5 weeks already after he poured the driveway he pierced the gas line which he knew where it was exactly, had the gas company digging up my back yard, thankfully was not under the new driveway ran out of concrete had to do a separate pour for a section of driveway i just want the issue with the standing water fixed without adding a drain I have reported this company to Better Business Bureau and he keeps lying in the comments he is adding He does a good job but if you have any issue with the work he did and you need him to come back and fix the issue he caused then you will not have a hope in hell of getting him to fix the issue Would NOT hire this guy again. read more
