I did have to inspect the work closely to make sure work was as I wanted, and the workers did good on correcting any issues or modifications. Overall, I am happy with cost and work quality. I hired Eric to do my business floor and my personal garage. He does not have a set schedule and is not considerate of your business hours or anyone else's time. Eric ( the owner) is not an honest person and will not stand behind his work. He does not have the proper equipment and despite giving him numerous opportunities to fix faulty work and live up to the warranty he signed, he still has not fixed the problems and no longer returns calls or texts. There are so many more things I could say with texts he sent and pictures of his work. Hope this helps someone else make a good decision and go with a Quality company.... Not this one! This work was done a few weeks ago and in less than a week, his work needs to be redone.

Short review: Star Paving and Sealing Company was great. I would hire them again and can recommend…read moreAl Cooper and his asphalt paving team without reservation. Great service and work. Longer review: Al Cooper (owner) personally responded to my call to get a quote for paving a LONG driveway in the country. He came out to look at the project, even though it was a 100 mile drive for him (one way). That impressed me. We talked details of the project, and he quickly provided a quote. He answered my questions. He kept me informed about when we might be able to get started. It was winter and the weather had to cooperate. So did the the local asphalt mixing company since I am too far from Memphis to use his normal supplier. When the weather finally warmed up, Al called and informed me of our start date. He laid out the plan and expected completion date, too. On the start date, he showed up with his team and got started right away. They worked hard and got it ALL done ahead of schedule and it was great. What was once gravel, potholes, and dirt was now well laid pavement. I am a happy customer. Al was always honest with me and never tried to 'bump' his quote or add to the price, as some folks tend to do. What he quoted me was what it cost. Al also personally supervised the work the entire time, start to finish. That is rare but much appreciated. He was refreshing to work with and I'm grateful. Call or email Al (star.paving@yahoo.com) and get your paving project done right.
