Concourse T is the only concourse at the Atlanta airport that connects directly to the main domestic terminal (thus the moniker 'T' for terminal). It consists of 21 gates, opened in 1987, and is primarily used by Delta and American airlines. It initially functioned as the airport's international concourse, with its own baggage claim area and security entrance. With the opening of the new international concourse (E) in 1994, concourse T was converted to a domestic concourse, which is what it is today. It is the very last stop (or the very first, depending on how one looks at it) of the Plane Train. It ended up being the concourse that we left from, when flying from Atlanta back to LAX. It was conveniently reachable by taking aforementioned train from the international terminal. read more
