This is the main concourse at the busiest airport in America. This is the concourse for Delta. It's a pretty big concourse for one airline. It was pretty busy when we were there. There was a decent amount to do. We got stranded here during a flight home due to a hurricane. The food options were ok. It was the typical fast food with a few healthy options. read more

It's huge and clean, and at least the music is turned down, but there are too many pretend service dogs, you can tell they aren't real service dog since they take a dump on the floor or our humping strangers legs. Keep checking the flight boards because gates change regularly. At least there was a good Starbucks! read more

Concourse B has been very busy every time I've come here, no matter if it was early or late. I like that we don't have to walk that far to get to a restroom. Speaking of restrooms, it always seems like there's an employee actively cleaning the restroom while I'm in there. I feel sorry for these employees because people are such slobs! There's a nice variety of places to eat and shop at while you're waiting for your flight. I think the only challenge that I can think of is that, when it's really full of people, finding an available electrical outlet or charging port can be difficult. Keep an eye on your Delta mobile app or the flight status monitors, because many times Delta flights will be moved to another gate or even another concourse due to planes leaving the gates late or arriving early. read more

Having 30 gates, Concourse B in Atlanta Airport's domestic terminal services a variety of airlines, mainly Delta but also American as well. We had the opportunity to leave from this terminal back to LAX on our layover from Curacao. We found it to be well arranged, without too much walking to the gates, and a good ratio of sitting areas to passengers. Our Delta flight ended up being an hour late, so spent a bit more time here than intended, My wife had found out from a friend that the airport had stopped operation for almost an hour because of lightning in the area. It was well forecasted, and our flight was actually moved up 20 minutes to see if it could beat the rush. But it didn't end up that way, so got switched to a different plane at multiple different gates. If you are going to have to switch planes flying Delta, there is no better place than in Atlanta. Because it was a later flight leaving after 9:30 pm, First Class did not serve any meals. I am beginning to learn that these redeye type flights are ones that have the best chance for a First-Class upgrade, and we ended up getting two bulkheads, which are the least wanted First class seats (a bit less legroom with all bags having to be fitted in overhead). I did want to do a special callout to Polrit, the lead Delta flight attendant on our flight back to LAX. He was genuinely nice, repeatedly asking what he could do to make our flight better. Strangely, it made us want to bother him less. read more

It's an airport, prices are exorbitant; however, the selection on the concourse is good. Most everyone in your party should be able to find something to sit and eat, (they have a seating area center of the food court area with tables and half booths), or take away to eat at the gate/on the plane. Coffee at Peet's is decent and they have diary alternatives. Staff was super help, good customer service. read more

B1 is has been quite relaxing and peaceful. Allowed me to charge and be in my thoughts. I do wish I had bed. I could get some really good sleep. I did try a really good smoothie stand called Freshens. I had the green smoothie. Safe travels to any flying through here. read more

This is an average concourse. The restaurant options are not very good and the Chinese is absolutely awful and completely overpriced for the muck they serve. Much better eating options on E which we were scheduled to fly out of but changed. The elevators were broken and no signs and the trains had issues too. I really dislike this airport. All good here, easy to move around to get in and get out. The train will take you directly here for you to walk up. Of course if you want to get your steps in you can walk your way here. I had enough time to grab a drink before my flight. I usually like to be on the last people to board. But every time I land here and takeoff I seem to land in this concourse. For how big the airport is they definitely move you along, even though I make sure to get here 2 hours early just in case. The morning time is busy but the evening time seems chill. We had a long layover in Atlanta and had originally planned to get a sandwich and beer at Blue Moon Brewery in Concourse B. But then decided we weren't that hungry. We have found it best not to overeat when flying. I scoped out the takeout spots. Even though several places were closed (victims of Covid?), we had a couple of good choices. Settled on Freshens which is a chain I was not familiar with. I settled on a Thai Rice Bowl. Generous amount of white rice. (I believe brown rice was also an option.) The rice was topped with chicken, carrots, lettuce, cabbage, and cucumber. Probably a couple more veggies that I don't recall. Also a tasty sauce which added some heat. DH said he wasn't hungry, but he ended up sharing with me. This was one of the healthiest airport "takeout" meals I've ever had. Could not believe such a reasonable price: only $8.61. Will definitely seek out Freshens next time we fly through Atlanta. Per their website, they are in four different concourses. read more

We had a great experience here. The concourse was easy to navigate which is ALWAYS a plus for me! Also loved the artistic ceiling and jungle canopy. It was very calming and unique. There seemed to be a fair amount of choices for food or coffee if you wanted to find something to eat. Bathrooms were plenty. our experience with the concourse was that it was pretty clean. and there was ample seating. Was able to plug in my phone while we waited. read more

Concourse B is "meh". The eateries in this concourse didn't impress me. One plus is the Savannah candy kitchen. I typically love their caramel apples and gophers. They do have a couple sit down restaurants, but their reviews aren't super. read more

This review is for Concourse B at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. At some airports, concourses and terminals may be synonymous, but not in Atlanta, so calling this "Terminal B" is technically incorrect. Currently, the Atlanta airport has seven concourses, A through F and T, and two terminals, Domestic and International. Concourse B serves domestic flights, has 33 gates, and I think all are operated by Delta Air Lines. Delta is all I can ever recall flying in to or out of this concourse. Strangely, this concourse seems to be missing Gates B8, B15, B30, and B35. Anyone know what's up with that? Like most of Hartsfield's concourses, Concourse B is one long north-south hallway. There are four sets of restrooms, equally spread out. For as much volume as this concourse and airport see (this is the world's busiest airport), the restrooms are as clean as one could reasonably expect. I like the green/red lights above the toilet stalls to let you know if a stall is occupied. There are touchscreens on your way out where you can provide feedback to airport staff to let them know how they're doing with the restrooms. It's nice that they cared enough to add that feature. Concourse B, and the Atlanta airport in general, have received facelifts over the years. It looks nicer than it used to. These days, the concourse looks brighter, cleaner, and more modern with touches like digital displays, containing flight information, beneath each gate sign along the walkway. Aesthetically speaking, Concourses A through E and T are relatively boring and literally straightforward. Like most of the rest of Hartsfield (https://www.yelp.com/biz/hartsfield-jackson-atlanta-international-airport-atl-atlanta-2), the concourse functions well and gets the job done, but it's not particularly impressive or memorable from a visual perspective, especially when you compare it to other major airports around the world. Concourse F is a different story. A couple local Atlanta food vendors I recommend in Concourse B include Cafe Intermezzo (https://www.yelp.com/biz/cafe-intermezzo-atlanta-4) and LottaFrutta (https://www.yelp.com/biz/lottafrutta-atlanta-2). Intermezzo is located in the center of the concourse and offers coffee, tea, breakfast, pastries, crepes, salads, sandwiches, and more. LottaFrutta is located near Gate B21 and offers fresh fruit smoothies, fruit cups, and sandwiches (healthy eating). Pro tip: If you're leaving the airport via rideshare (e.g. Lyft, Uber) and have no checked baggage, consider exiting the airport at Concourse F / the International Terminal. There's a rideshare pickup point there that is a shorter walk, faster, less congested and more convenient than those at the Domestic Terminal. read more

Not enough seats for the flight alone in the waiting lobby.I have been at the airport a whole work shift with overtime and missed a day of vacation. This was my departure and arrival point when I got to the airport. It was quite the experience. The terminal is just about exact to the other terminals at this airport. Glaring differences here are the establishments that you can visit. It's kind of hard to just stand around in this terminal. I felt like I was being pushed regardless if I was just trying to stand in a spot, or sit in a chair. I didn't really go into any of the spots, was just trying to make my gate. I am always impressed by how well maintained this airport is all day long, 365 days a year. Decent terminal, plenty of food options so you don't have to go to other terminals unless you want to. There are plenty of bathrooms and shopping centers. I absolutely LOVED the artistic ceilings in between the two terminals - they look like a jungle canopy, complete with calming colors and animal sounds. I do wish there was some seating available there because I would have loved to sit back and enjoy it while I am here waiting for my flight. read more

Extremely happy with customer service agents here. I would like to especially recommend an agent, a black gentleman wearing glasses and yellow reflective suit/belts, who helps push wheelchairs, whom I unfortunately did not have time to get the name of, working at Terminal B near gate B16. I have forgotten my overhead carry on luggages on my previous connecting flight DL3583, exiting from gate D27 and my next flight was leaving at gate B16 in less than 20min. I walked to the agent and he genuinely cared about my concerns and immediately contacted the previous gate for me, while he had to help another customer push his/her wheelchair, eventually retrieving my forgotten luggages all the way from Terminal D (he ran all the way from Terminal B to D, then back to D) and caught me and delivered my forgotten luggages as I was walking to my seat on flight DL2132. The B16 gate agent was also very helpful and eager to help me even though she was very busy with checking in all the passengers on the flight. It would have been a hassle if I had to go to lost & found after arriving at my final destination and might take much more time for Delta to mail them to me. He is the hero of my day and I hope he gets rewarded for going out of the way for his customers. Keep up the good work ATL Terminal B and Delta Airlines! read more

Yes Atlanta is in the best airports list for a reason. The types of food vendors and eateries are upscale and open in the morning when you are looking for breakfast. Moving sidewalks help folks like me that can't walk too well. Overall, as large as this airport is, it was easy to get from one place to the other. read more

Over the past several years, the B wing hasn't been my favorite at ATL for several reasons. Lighting has been poor, seats at the gates were old, and the restaurants weren't attractive to visit. Lately, with new vendors, improved lighting, and a cleaner look to the whole B gate, I have decided to provide a 4 out of 5 star rating. The Delta Skyclub is a nice facility at B10, halfway point where the underground shuttle drops off passengers. It took forever and hope they will maintain the look for a while. read more

Alright so I had a layover at the Atlanta Airport and I was sitting in Terminal B. What can I say except that Terminal B had a bunch of chairs and even more people than chairs. People of all shapes and sizes and chairs of only one size. Poor, poor, chairs. Anyways, I've been to this particular airport before and when I had enough time I'd make my way over to Terminal D (or Concourse D) because that's where there's a Popeye's Chicken. Now I don't know what it is about getting Popeye's Chicken at an airport, but somehow the spicy fried chicken just tastes better. Once you take a bite into that delicious, crispy, juicy chicken and the flavor explodes in your mouth like the fourth of July your feeling of misery and frustration over your delayed flight and middle seat assignment just melts away. You magically go from disgruntled to ......???....... gruntled. Unfortunately Concourse B has no Popeye's and getting to D requires a bit of effort. Alas, Concourse B only has those quick serve cafes. No Chick-Fil-A (Concourse A), no Five Guys (Concourse C), No Chipotle (Concourse D), or McDonalds, Panda Express, Arbys, Villa Fresh (Concourse E). So you could say that Concourse B is the underachiever of the bunch even though it has a TGIFridays. So yeah Concourse B, no Popeye's Chicken. read more
