Utterly blown away by this company. Went to a body shop to repaint a door on my brand new 4Runner that was damaged by a roofing crew. The body shop color matched the paint perfectly, however, they wrecked the clear coat either during the washing process or the polishing process (or both). I've learned that this is common with body shops. They are paint experts, not clear coat experts. There was extremely heavy swirling and a hazy patch that was about 7 square inches in size. It looked like the paint on the door could not be saved and the body shop was trying to pardon themselves of the poor work with the clear coat. I frantically looked for a paint corrector with a brick and mortar location (non-mobile). I found Concours Auto Spa and they restored they literally fixed the clear coat. Door looks amazing. The pictures do not do the job justice. If you look carefully, you can see heavy scuffing in the first picture. In the second picture there is no scuffing. read more

This place is probably the best tint shop you can go to for Tesla. They have the experience to property take care of your car. Teslas have a huge back window which can be difficult to tint in one piece (many shops only do half of the rear window). All the roll down windows are borderless so they have to know how to property tint those as well (which they do!) Just a warning if you're getting ceramic tint be prepared to pay for it. But you get what you pay for! They are definitely high quality tint shop and the team takes their time here when they work on your car. I called a month in advance just to book an appointment. I got many other quotes from other shops but this one won my business. They follow up with you throughout the process and walk you through how to take care of your newly tinted car when you come pick it up. I have had great experiences here. Doug and Matt and the crew take extra special car of the cars. They seem to be the most professional and thorough auto detailing and protection services in the area. I recently wanted my new car staying new. So i opted for a custom paint protection film done to the front, door edges, mirrors, trunk area, etc and i also got GTechniq Crystal Serum ceramic coating done to keep everything from marring the paint. They did a great job. For the ppf it was done up at the Marina Del Rey location, but overall i work with Matt at Torrance and do maintenance stuff there. They are thorough. If i caught anything they'd attend to it. They stand by their work and it's worth every penny to protect your investments. I called Concours Auto Spa a few weeks before taking delivery of my Tesla Model Y to inquire about options for customizing and protecting the vehicle. I spoke with Matt at the Torrance location a few times before making my appointment, and he was super patient and helpful with all of my questions regarding what options I had and what their recommendations were. Their quote was competitive and the guys at the shop were super nice, so I decided to go with them to get a full front PPF wrap, ceramic coating, and tinting done on my Model Y. On the day of delivery, they offered to have me come by right after picking up my Model Y from the Tesla Delivery Center in Marina del Rey and one of their techs looked over the whole vehicle, inspected it for paint defects, and helped me point out any issues that should be fixed by Tesla. Thankfully my car had no paint defects that needed to be addressed and my service was done at the MDR location the week after. Everything looks fantastic! I've been wanting to write this review for a while but I tend to procrastinate when I want to do something right, and so I wanted to make sure this was not just another cursory review. We originally found Concours through the Tesla Motors Club. People were raving about the great deals on tints, wraps, and other services for their new Teslas. So we went into the shop to inquire more about their services and to check out the shop even before we received our new car. We spoke to Doug, the owner, who was very informative and patient with all of our questions. He took the time to explain the different services we were interested in and even took us over to the cars they were working on to show us what things looked like in person. We ended up getting tinted windows, paint protection film, ceramic coating, and a vinyl wrap for the inside dash and center console (white wrap to match our white car which also protects it from scratches and fingerprints!). All of the services we received turned out great (see photos)! For almost every service they provide, they ask you to bring your car back for a follow up a week or two after so they can check and make sure everything is perfect. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work. It's great because they also give you a nice wash as well. :) Doug and the whole crew there are very friendly and willing to work with you if anything is not to your satisfaction. If you are considering Concours for your car services, I would act fast and get your deposit in so Doug can schedule you as soon as possible as they can get really busy. So I'm gonna start off by saying that Doug is awesome. I was shopping around for quite a while, trying to find a dependable shop for ceramic coating and a chrome delete on my model 3. After scouring Yelp, I landed on Concours Auto Spa and was pleasantly surprised at all of the great reviews! I gave them a call and spoke to Doug who gave me a great price with a package deal because I plan on doing tints with them sometime in spring. He also threw in a special partial wrap design dubbed the "Oreo" look. They were able to finish the job in a day and a half, but it was super cold and raining so the vinyl on the emblem and camera mounts suffered a bit from lack of heat to adhere it to the car. I went back to Doug and he immediately agreed to get it fixed for me! This is the kind of business that deserves patronage, because they ultimately want to see that you're happy with the work they've done. Thank you to Doug, Matt and the crew at Concours. Not only did they do a great job on the PPF, Ceramic Coat and Window Tint, but you guys minimized the damage on our Model 3 from a recent valet incident. And this is the real reason I'm posting a 5-Star comment! Most of the posts on Yelp and the Tesla Forums talk about the quality of the work and they reasonable costs (both 100% accurate)...However, I want to focus on how well they treat their customers: Recently, I found a significant sized gash on the front driver bumper. I don't know how it got there, but I called Doug and he got me on the calendar two days later to see what he could do. I brought the car in this morning and both Matt and Doug were honest and said replacing the bumper was the only way to get it back to new. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option. So, Doug got creative and cut out a portion of the PPF, buffed out the area and applied touch-up paint. You can see the difference in the pictures. We can all still the damaged area, but that's not the point. Concours didn't have to accommodate me in busy schedule, but they did. They could have said they're nothing we can do, but they didn't. They could have charged me for the work they did, but again, they didn't. Bottomline, these are good people who do what the believe is right. And because of this, they have a customer for life. Maybe Doug should rename his place Tesla South Bay. It seems that everyone that purchased a Model 3 is coming here to have their cars finished up. When I dropped my car off, I think there were at least 5 or 6 Model 3s there. You can't really blame them though, Doug's crew is very good with the work they do (just look at all the other reviews, they are pretty accurate). All around communication is great (notifications etc), but I did have a snafu with mine where they forgot to add a piece of PPF that I requested last minute to the trunk area (luggage strip). Of course they took care of it. The only downside, was I had to make an extra trip out there. I did participate in a group deal created by someone else. Driving back from OC I noticed a white paint-like substance on the driver's underside of my Tesla Y, from the front driver's wheel all the way to the back wheel. Saw this business on the Tesla forums. This is a top notch operation for paint protection and detailing. Not only is the shop full of Teslas, but a lot of other high end and exotics. I opted for the full ceramic coating (Crystal Serum Ultra w/ EXO v4, high end but worth it IMHO) and full front paint protection. Also did the chrome black out. After almost a year, I am totally satisfied with the product and the service. The owner, Doug, is awesome to work with. He and Matt answered all my questions and spent the time to teach me how to properly maintain and wash the vehicle (hint: no drive through car washes). When I wash my car, I use a pressure washer (harbor freight special, don't need anything more than that) to wet it down (ha ha, the ceramic is really hydrophobic) and get rid of the dust and anything that actually managed to stick. Wipe down with a soapy microfiber glove to mechanically remove anything that is really stubborn or on the glass, and finish up with a rinse from the pressure washer. It's nice because I use so little water that the run off doesn't make it to the sidewalk. Microfiber cloth dry and voila, showroom shine without streaks! If you care about how your car looks, and especially if you are forced to park outside, I think it's worth spending a few extra bucks here to get it done right. You bought a high end car, don't go cheap now. That's like buying a BMW and complaining about the extra 10-20 cents/gal for putting premium fuel in it.
