We walked on the patio to sit and wait for 1 of our friends to come out of there and meet us. The owner came up and started yelling at my son and I that we were a discrase he would be so fing embarrassed if he were us we have alot of nerve walking to his bar with drinks and was yelling infront of everyone on the patio at us. EXTREMELY RUDE. I then told him I apologize we bought our drinks from B and L he then yelled we'll why didn't you say that in the first place....um sorry you started YELLING at us infront of 50 some people and didn't give us a chance to SAY ANYTHING. I will continue going to Rick at B and L were my family and I are treated with respect and not downgraded infront of 50 some strangers. And to top it all off his friends sitting out on the patio continued to yell and call us liers he walked into his bar and didn't day anything to his friends just let them keep talking S**t . Wish I could rate this bar 0 stars. I don't care if your having a bad day NO ONE deserves to be treated the way we were. I am a total beliver of supporting local businesses but not this place after the experience my family and I had.

We went in because a man just leaving said they were having a pot luck meal for Thanksgiving and anyone could eat. Since we found no other bars or restaurants open and I kid you not, nothing open, we would take a chance. When we walked in it was eyes right by the patrons. Nobody said a word. We ordered a drink and DJ and I talked amongst ourselves. We were hungry and decided to help ourselves to the food at the back of the room. If we waited for an invitation, it would have not come. The bartender must have been in her 80's and simply took care of business. We would go again knowing this place is for locals. I would by no means call it a dive. It is just a clean simply bar with basic drinks and no food.

This '1' rating is specific to their pies only. For…read moreThanksgiving I ordered 2 pies: a pumpkin & a pecan. 1. They were not 'fresh made', as had been implied when I placed my order early Nov. In fact: their 'sell-by' date happened to be the day after we served them for our Sunday family get-together dinner (even though I had picked up our custom-order just the day prior on Sat.) 2. Pecan pie was so liquidy/runny, and the pecans were both stale and semi-burnt, that we were only able to salvage 3 'scoops' of pie when serving it. Cost for this pie was approx. $27. It went in the garbage. 3. Pumpkin pie: flavorless with a doughy bottom crust that was clearly not fully cooked. Our guests tried it but not one person could enjoy it and they all skipped the bottom crust. This pie also went in the garbage. Cost was approx. $20. We have had cupcakes, bread, & soups from Wooden Spoon this year & all were good. Their service is always pleasant. Sadly though I must post this so that others can avoid paying top $$ for in-edible pies over xmas (or anytime.)
