This hotel was built when all public broadcasters still had their own hotel. It is located directly next to the RBB (Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg) about 5 minutes by foot from the fair grounds.
The hotel is extremely straight forward. Simple, no frills - but the staff is relatively friendly - and some of them even speak English.
It has covered parking, which is great if you have to go to the Berlin Fair Grounds, because parking is expensive and difficult to find.
The rooms are quite cheap - with surcharges charged if it is fair time. Breakfast is served in the Ground floor Bistro, and at night there is not much going on around the hotel - you have to take the Tube into town. The next stop is about 10 minutes away by foot.
There is WiFi only on certain floors.
