Today July 17-2018 , I'm coming and sighed in at 2:03 pm before my appointment at 2:30 pm . Unlucky after an hourlong !.. I'm asking for how long more cause I saw many persons got in after 3:00pm they're had been done theirs ordered! And I saw the couple asking they need their orders get done but the operator still saying Wait! ??? 3:40 pm I'm asking to canceled my orders caused I'm feeling separated by the race and by the age when they directed refused couple elderly handicaps . Had a routine CT done here and I was really impressed. Being in the medical field (currently semi-retired) so I currently don't deal with direct patient care anymore. It felt very awkward to be the patient. Sometimes knowing too much can be a bad thing. Prior to the CT scan, I had to drink about a litter of barium. I was dreading that, because in the past, barium was quite nasty but now one has a choice of several different flavors and it's tolerable now, and it's not as "chalky" anymore. When I went to register, the ladies behind the desk were very nice and very informative. They gave me all the instructions I needed for my scan and how to take barium. I also received a call the day before to remind me of my appointment and they reviewed the instructions again of fasting and of how to take the barium. My CT took at the most 10 mins. The CT technician was very professional and got my vein on the first try. And I have horrible veins to begin with. One thing the tech did fail to mention was that with the intravenous contrast, one would feel a flushed sensation. Thank God, I knew what to expect. Back in the day, that 10 min. CT scan would have taken maybe 30 mins. Technology sure has come a long way. read more

Extremely unhappy about my services there. I was going in for a routine 20-week pregnancy ultrasound. According to their policies, they require a full bladder. That is utterly idiotic; I had 5 ultrasounds (at other places) with my previous pregnancy and was never required to do that, nor was I required to for my 13-week scan with this pregnancy (also at another location). I arrived early and with a full bladder as they had requested, and was told to wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, at 15 minutes past my appointment time, I was nearly in tears, and told the front desk. They asked me to wait a little longer. I did not; I ran to the restroom (which I had to find myself, as no one would tell me where it was). It was another 10 minutes before the tech finally came to get me. Second issue was that they refused to allow my husband in the room for the scan, and instead insisted on him waiting out in the lobby. Again, in my myriad of other ultrasounds, I have NEVER been denied my husband in the room. I was not allowed to view the images during the scan: the tech turned the screen so I could not see. She did not discuss anything with me during the exam at all: complete silence. Once she was done, she went and got my husband. She then spent a cursory 5 minutes quickly whipping the wand around and saying things like 'oh, here's the heart, here's the head.' Third, we were not provided any printed images of the scan. We were given a CD-ROM of the images, but they open in a very strange program (GE imaging?) that my computer can't recognize. I had to use library computers to view them, and it was very difficult to navigate. All-in-all, a horrible experience. Find another place! read more

Just poorly run at the front desk. If you walk in to make an appointment they make you wait. Just do it over the phone. Made my appt for 4, they call the day before and tell me to be there at 3:30! I arrived even earlier and am ignored. Why come early, just don't! The attitude at the front desk is very clear! I've been given orders to fast 12 hrs, 8hrs and finally 6 hours! Incompetent medical billing personnel and unethical management. The only reason why I give this place 1 star is because there isn't a spot for 0 stars. Stay away from this place. Staff provided a wrong estimate amount for my procedure not once, but twice, then sent a bill for a higher amount. Staff has not only refused to honor the correct price, but instead is hiding behind the excuse that "insurance companies only provide ballpark estimates" and "you signed a paper that says the amount is an estimate and we can charge more". Anyone only slightly familiar with medical billing knows this isn't how contracted insurance rates work. So not only are they incompetent, but have also been dishonest each time I have called to protest their overbilling. I've had better experiences at government offices. Will never go back even if I was dying outside their front door. read more

I hate to say this but I'm over 55 and very very claustrophobic! I had to walk away from another MRI because I panicked!! Edward McMillan is a GENIUS!! I went through that process today only because of their superb advanced equipment and Edward McMillan!! The machine is shorter and he allow me time to come out for a few seconds between the screening times and I was able to endure it!! I've had my annual mammograms here every year. When I called today to schedule, they informed me that there will be a $60.00 fee. I explained that my insurance covers mammograms at 100% since they are "preventative care". The woman said that they now have a better machine and their owner decided he's not going to cover the $60.00 difference (from the old version). I then called the Woman's Imaging Center right down the street - funny, they have the same upgraded 3D machine and told me they will not charge the patient the difference (they said "shame shame" to Concord for being so greedy). read more

A pretty decent place and the doctor was really good at doing the MRI on my 6 year old without me present. The only thing that I didn't like was the wait time but overall, decent visit. read more

Was scheduled quickly due to issue with another imaging center. Overall very nice and easy group. My patient portion seemed a bit high and will wait to see what my EOB states. If billing is correct will come back and rate them with 5 stars. The MRI tech was pleasant. Communicated well. Don't' remember her name because I was in and out in about 20 minutes - from check in to out the door! read more

I was extremely nervous for the procedure I was having done here. It couldn't have gone any better than it did. The staff was absolutely incredible from receptionists to technicians to drs. I felt comfortable the entire process and was informed all along of the steps. The facility is clean, beautiful, and very comforting. I would be happy to return here over and over again. Though I would prefer not to as that would just mean something else is wrong with me. :) read more

If I could give it negative stars I would - walked in at 9:04 - took 35 minutes to even get checked in because the "ladies" at the front didn't feel like following the order of the list. They processed in the order which they chose. Then, lied about the machine being down, as they were calling another person in for x-rays as they were lying to my face. My doctor wanted me to get an MRI from Concord Imaging so not knowing how much my insurance would cover, I called to inquire how much they would bill. I was told around $1000. I found out my insurance would cover that amount so I went ahead. Now after having the MRI done, I found out they charged just under $1600 which leaves me with about $350 for me to pay out of pocket. After waiting for 45 minutes , was informed to pay $60 for the so called 3D mammogram and since the referral was a diagnostic not routine plus the insurance will not cover $60. Wish I had read here first about the $60 charge on mammograms that my insurance would not pay. I have a VERY good insurance plan that always pays completely for my mammograms and was surprised when I was asked for $60. I thought maybe I had not meet my deductible so I went ahead and paid. Now I see several postings that this is an uncovered cost forced on a patient because of upgraded equipment????? I called the office, was given a 1-800 number because they do not help you with billing questions at the location and guess what? No one answered. I let it ring for over 5 minutes. Not very happy and will call my doctor's office next to complain about them sending me to this facility. read more

I got there 30 min. early with a full bladder like they want you to for my 18 week ultrasound. The waiting time was super long, I had a whole bunch of people that got there after me be seen before me. I was seriously the last one to be seen and almost an hour after my appointment time. I was finally called in and the ultrasound really hurt my stomach since the lady kept pressing down really hard on my stomach to take the anatomy pics they have to take of the baby. Finally at the end of all the anatomy pics, I was told I can go get my husband in the room. After about almost 20 min. of the lady trying to find the sex of the baby, she just gave up. So we waited that long in the waiting room and I went through all that pain just to be told I would have to come back again if I want to find out the sex of my baby. Or if I want to know sooner the sex of my baby I can pay out of pocket for a 3D ultrasound somewhere else. It really sucks because I had my full bladder but obviously it won't stay full if it takes an hour after my appointment time for them to call me in. read more

Meh. I got my 20 week ultrasound, then a 30 week follow up. Both times I went in, my paperwork was incorrect. You'd think they would have looked at the corrections they insisted I make, and actually corrected them before the second visit. The first ultrasound was just ok. The technician gave up after about 30 minutes of trying to find the sex. The second ultrasound I had l, the tech was very unfriendly...she didn't even introduce herself...and then she pressed so hard, she hurt me. This is not my first pregnancy, but definitely the first time I have had a painful ultrasound. read more

I was sent to Concord in Oct 2016 by my ENT for a MRI. I was told at the desk that I needed to pay $300 after a check on my insurance, so I paid that amount. It is now the end of March and I just received a call from a bill collector saying I owe $400+ from my Concord visit. I never received a bill from them and I just checked Aetna (my insurance) and they never bill against it. This place is horrible and I hope they are sued for all they are worth. read more

I am so pleased to recommend this facility. I had a CT Scan done a few weeks ago followed with an MRI today. I was nervous both times but the two different technicians were wonderful. They explained each step along the way and showed professionalism and compassion which made the testing go much more smoothly.
