Cassie, Cody and Christy were all so helpful and were really trying to let my 88 year old Dad have the x-ray after we had driven 1hr and 20 minutes to get here! They close at 7:00 and even with all the issues, they got the x-rays done!

They performed the…read moretest without the contrast, and when I questioned it, telling the receptionist that it was ordered with contrast, she told me that it's their policy to only do these scans without contrast, regardless of what the order says. If the doctor is serious about wanting the contrast, the doctor has to physically call the radiologist. This would necessitate a second visit and a second bill. Not a bad way to drum up more business.

When I arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and very helpful with the check-in process. He answered all of my questions and was very professional. During the MRI, the technician was great--he explained what was going to happen and what to expect throughout the procedure. The facility was very clean, and all the equipment looked new. After the MRI, they informed me that the results would be sent to my doctor, and I would also receive an email with the results explained in plain language so I could understand them easily. I highly recommend going here for an MRI if needed.

Instead of reciting the usual platitudes, he arranged for a pain relief intervention stating "expedite." He gave me a very detailed PT plan that will begin in the water. He prescribed a topical cream and my local apothecary compounded it for me. He has the excellent bedside manner, great intelligence, and most sincere compassion of any ortho doc I have met. I have had appts in Boston that were a joke compared to this experience. And, his education/training is as good as it gets: Penn, Yale Med School, fellowship at The Baptist.

However, they had a fast track registration that allowed me to be triaged within about 10-20 minutes, which then expedited my initial assessment having x-rays ordered with no delay. Although it was busy and a crazy flu season, my orthopedic injury was assessed and treatment started within a couple hours. The physician had such a perfect bedside manner and was able to reduce my fractured wrist with as little pain as possible, walking me through the whole procedure. He was definitely a pro and the radiology & nursing staff was fantastic, even though they had patients lining the hallways. When the Orthopedic hand surgeon back home did my follow up x-rays he even complemented the reduction that was done.

Horrible experience today at the Bedford, NH location. Front office support is the worst…read more For annual physical, was informed I could get my labs done a week prior to the physical. I drove to NH from Massachusetts and waited an hour to have blood drawn. Once served, it was determined no lab orders were available. Called Bedford DMC front office of which they told me lab order was expired (just talked to them a week prior about scheduling labs mind you). Courtney informed me there was nothing she could do. I fasted all night and morning and drove 30+ miles to receive such a nasty response. Hopefully, I will, eventually, get a lab order and do this all over again before my physical exam (not holding my breath). I am very loyal to my primary care physician, Dr. Koshy, and have been seeing him for over 20+ years as I still see him even though I relocated to Massachusetts. However, at this point, I may have to change primary care services to something more local to Massachusetts. This is unfortunate, as Dr. Koshy is the best! However, I cannot say the same for his support staff.
