We had an emergency room visit here last week and as a healthcare provider myself, I was very skeptical when I entered the busy and small waiting room. However, they had a fast track registration that allowed me to be triaged within about 10-20 minutes, which then expedited my initial assessment having x-rays ordered with no delay. Although it was busy and a crazy flu season, my orthopedic injury was assessed and treatment started within a couple hours. The physician had such a perfect bedside manner and was able to reduce my fractured wrist with as little pain as possible, walking me through the whole procedure. He was definitely a pro and the radiology & nursing staff was fantastic, even though they had patients lining the hallways. When the Orthopedic hand surgeon back home did my follow up x-rays he even complemented the reduction that was done. read more

If I could give 0 stars, believe me, I would. As someone who has seen it from the employee perspective, the blatant disregard for HIPPA, and accountability on staff to uphold it is appalling. Many times staff were witnessed to be on FaceTime or video call while sitting at the nurses station, discussing patients and their care, including full names and diagnosis. Staff were witnessed many times in patients room, supposed to be watching the patient, yet on their phones and even taking photos with sensitive patient information visible. However when all of this was reported, a hostile, and targeted environment ensued, and the staff continued getting away with these actions. The staff are disgustingly overworked, due to lack of staffing, leading to the most burnt out nurses I've ever worked with. Never once was there a shift that began without the outgoing staff feeling overwhelmed and like they are nearly crawling out of the dumpster fire that was their shift. They are underpaid, disregarded by management unless you have tenure, or a friendship with them. The lack of adequate equipment is sad, seeing as the hospital would rather pay to upgrade superficial and benign issues then invest in proper staffing, and better management. I can almost guarantee that if they focused even a minute fraction of second on what their staff are ACTUALLY saying and not just picking and choosing your staff based on a popularity contest your overall patient satisfaction would increase significantly. Stop overworking your staff, and only listening to your employees when it suits management and their narrative. Just do better. read more
