There is so much that I love about this playground. I love that the playground itself has shaded areas built into it. I love that there's a variety of equipment for different ages. I love that you can almost launch yourself off of some of the slides. I love that it's fully fenced. I love that there's even a ramp onto the playground for those children who need wheels to get around. I love that apart from the ramp there's still about four different ways to actually get on to the playground. Can you tell I'm excited? BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!! I love that there sheltered table/chairs AND a working drinking fountain so close to the playground. I love that there's a basketball hoop not too far away. I love that you can have dogs in the park (but not in the fenced off playground area). I love that there's a BBQ! I LOVE IT!!! SO why didn't I give this a five star rating???? Because there's no toilets :-( This IS a destination playground for me because I don't have to drive far to get to it. I would however, prefer to have toilets at a playground that I drove across town to get to. This is such a great place. With a playground, skate park AND beautiful bike/hiking tracks through…read morethe local bush land, this really is a pretty place. While it isn't the biggest playground, they certainly have designed it with a wide range of age groups in mind. There's a mix of rubber ground and bark chip ground with toilets right in the middle of the skating area and the playground area. I spoke to a local who said the skate park is great (I've been out of the skating scene for too long to know hehehe). There were a couple of broken street lights in the car park but he assured me that the park gets maintained and looked after well, and he was surprised to see the damage himself. Pack your family up, put the bikes in the car and head over here. It would be a lovely Sunday outing. This is definitely one to check out. It has exercise equipment, large skate park, hiking trails, fenced dog park and playground with toilets. Whilst I mainly visited for the playground with friends, I was disappointed that it does not cater for crawlers or children under 2 very well. Some of the equipment was too high/difficult for them to climb and they spent the majority of the time on the rubber ground. There was also no toddler swing, so if your kids like swings as much as mine then it's not the place to go. That being said it s well kept and tidy, but probably suited more to 3/4yo and up.

There is a basketball half court and a netball ring/half court, picnic tables and drinking fountain. It is a magical little place and you can even go on a little walk down to explore the creek down the hill. The only downside is there are no toilets so best go before leaving home. This playground is actually located on Pine Drive, Aberfoyle Park SA and not the address above. The above address of Reynell RD features a bmx track and walking trails only.

This playground sure was a surprise to me. It's bright, colourful, engaging, suitable for a variety of ages and down right F.U.N.! The City of Marion are pumping a whole lot of money into upgrading their playgrounds and I hope it's making a difference. If I lived close to this playground, I would most certainly be making the most of it, especially on a Sunday when the children are complaining that there's nothing to do. This is a lovely place and I'm sure children could spend quite some time here having fun. It isn't fenced. There isn't a drinking fountain and there isn't any direct shade over any of the playground or seating BUT there is a lovely new table/chair combo and a bench seat. The playground is so refreshing, especially being so close to playgrounds from the Onkaparinga City Council. There's lots to do but I probably wouldn't bother about coming here for children under 3....unless they like to swing a lot. I apologise for there only being one photo. This one would suit a younger age but the older children would still have fun running around on it, they just wouldn't be as challenged by some of the equipment. There's a lovely sheltered table/chair area and the whole area is calling out for a BBQ and a drinking fountain (I might be pushing my luck if I ask for toilets as well). There isn't as much to 'do' on this playground as with some of the others. There's not as much to climb, but still, for the younger children, it would be quite a lot of fun. Take a picnic lunch and either eat at the table or spread out a blanket and sit on the lovely lawn area. The area isn't fenced but it is located in between quiet streets. Hopefully the photos speak for themselves.

If your dog or your child needs room to run about, this is the place to come. There is SO much room! The playground is fairly new and the entire play equipment area has a rubber floor. There are electronic toilets, BBQ, sheltered table/chair area, and a drinking fountain that needs a little servicing. It's one of those wonderful drinking fountains that have a lower collection spot for the off-run of water so the four legged pooches can have a drink also. Attached is also a tap. To be honest, if it wasn't such a great set up, the play equipment wouldn't be all that great. This is definitely a toddler park with one piece of equipment that reminds me of swinging around on the old lop sided hill hoist (which isn't suited for toddlers at all). This is a lovely place to be. The BBQ looks like it's the oldest piece of equipment of the whole area but it still looks like it gets used (it was a rainy day, I didn't try myself). Thankfully, this playground is on the City of Marion's UPGRADE list so it won't look like this for…read morelong. The views are beautiful but the playground is not! There's pieces of the protective coating lifting, it's faded and drab. Five years ago it probably looked great, but the sun has taken its toll on this little playground. There isn't a whole lot to do here and possibly if I didn't know it was going to be upgraded I wouldn't be so harsh but this little area has more than enough room for a decent sized playground. There's a bench seat in the shade of a tree but I doubt if the shade reaches the playground. The playground isn't fenced but it is set back quite a bit from the road and is in a quiet area. If you're walking past, have a play......and dream about what it might look like after the upgrade. Could this be a 'destination playground'? It has the standard slides and swings but it also has a seated metal flying fox, a climbing web and goal shooting pole which I haven't seen before. This actually works in quite nicely with the basketball hoop in the same area. It has BBQ and although I didn't see it, I'm sure there would be a drinking fountain somewhere. There weren't any sheltered table/chair areas but there are plenty of table/chair set and the entire area is delightfully spotted with trees so I don't think shade should be too much of an issue. There are paths connecting the basketball area to the playground area and the BBQs and tables sit in the middle. This is actually a really great area. I'm really glad there were children on it actually, it would be a shame to see a place like this empty on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The locals really would use this area well. There's a BBQ, a couple of shaded table/chair combos and a compact yet engaging playground. Can you believe that I forgot to check out the drinking fountain situation????? I must have had a moment of bliss watching the families making the most of this pretty play space. Children were on the playground. Parents and children were kicking footballs. Another child was riding around on his bike. Yay for great playgrounds and double yay for people using them!
