Dr.Sinka is truly one of the most friendly, caring, and experienced veterinary doctors that I have ever met. He made time for me twice when I had two rescued cats that needed to be checked. He is thorough, gentle, and gives very helpful advice. He also makes house calls! I will be returning to his practice! Thank you, Dr. Sinka! read more

If I could give minus 100 stars I would. Do yourself and your pet a big favor and go somewhere else. My 8 year-old, indoor, pampered and healthy Siamese kitty needed a small, routine surgery for an abscess. She died in their so-called 'care'. She had annual health checks/vaccinations with them for 3 years and was always given a clean bill of health. They had never requested prior veterinary records, had no pre-op questionnaire, and we had never met the vet, Dr Lopez, himself, only the veterinary technician/assistant. The day she died the Dr was not present when we arrived at 8:30 a.m. so did not examine my cat when I was there, did not call me to ask questions, but went ahead and performed surgery with no knowledge of my pet's history (she had previously had a bad reaction to a drug they gave her). An assistant called to say she had recovered from anesthesia and was fine, but the Dr called me 90 minutes later to say that she had died! I was in SHOCK, DEVASTATED AND HEARTBROKEN. He had no credible explanation, took no responsibility and blamed everything on a pre-existing condition (which did not exist). This should never have happened. Please take your precious pet to a vet with more thorough and careful practices. read more

This place is great. My medically-complex senior dog had a bladder infection two years ago while traveling here and today, a GI issue. This is the only place we will come when visiting Naples. The doctors have been very kind, compassionate, and truly care about getting my dog back on his feet in no time. The labs, imaging, and medication turn-around-time is the best I've seen. At home, I'm sent to another facility or compounding pharmacy and it takes days, if not longer. The prices are reasonable, as compared to Philadelphia and Los Angeles where my dog has been extensively treated. My dog thanks you for making the rest of his holiday trip great. (*The review about a bee sting is absurd, he's lucky it wasn't Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) and the dog is ok. We had a sting in SWFL and I ended up flying him to Penn Medicine as he was decompensating fast. The vet team are right for wanting diagnostics and that price for imaging is low!) read more

Avoid this place!! Have had bad experience after bad experience. They recommended a $500+ MRI for my dog who was stung by a bee? He was completely fine about 15 mins after the visit to the vet and no MRI necessary. They will try and upsell you for anything. We had to go in for a quick check up on my dog's paw recently and I asked after the appointment to get the records sent to me so I can look for a new vet. We are now 10 days later and multiple emails (every day) following up for records and they still refuse to release them to me. There are tons of better options in Naples. Please stay away from this place. read more

I have a dog who is now 11 who was exhibiting signs of Cushings and after paying for X-rays and blood work and another $2500for a ct scan they totally missed that she actually had a mass on her spleen and it was in fact malignant. After seeking treatment elsewhere and paying another $16,000 to save her I went in and spoke to Dr Lopez. He wasn't sympathetic at all and said that he would look into it a for a refund. That was 20 months ago and no phone calls were ever returned. My dog would have certainly died. This is my first ever Yelp review and I thought it was important to share as we all know how much we love our pets. I would definitely avoid this clinic. read more

We are regular customers here and hands down it is the best vet we have ever taken our dogs and cats to! 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Do not trust these people! 1 week ago my pregnant wife went to the vet to receive three vaccines at the same time for a 10 pound dog. Obviously the way the story goes is worse from here, and my dog had an allergic reaction hours later and we had to rush her to the dog ER as her face looked swollen. The ER vet then said 3 vaccines should have never been given to this dog, and that if my wife had gone to sleep we probably would have had a dead dog. That ER bill ran us an additional 250 bucks after the 300 for the vaccine visit. All I asked for was 250 bucks in credit to reimburse their failure to warn us about any possible vaccine related event. To make matters worse they didn't let my pregnant wife use the bathroom because it was "employee only" on the vaccine visit(she was there for 1.5 hours). To be fair I went in and they said "We have no idea who closed the bathroom off as it's a public bathroom." So that's the unfortunate story of why they should have never had our business and why they should never have yours. Not willing to work with anybody so I think you should give them that gift as well. read more

Got one email saying there was an overdue vaccination and another that an appointment was scheduled. I called to change the time of the appointment. My mistake was I did not ask what vaccinations was overdue. When I arrived with my pup the administrative staff had no idea what was scheduled and then became rude when I tried to find out why the appointment was made. I asked to see a supervisor but was advised he was not available. I returned home and replied to the email I received in an attempt to find out why the appointment was made. Still waiting for a reply. They need to work on their communication skills and customer service. read more

Go somewhere else. These doctors are wreckless, underqualified and lazy. They charge 3-4x for a terrible service. Nearly killed my dog after discharging her with nearly stage 4 kidney failure and about 7-8 medicines to force feed her with no follow up appointment. Wtf. Fortunately we went elsewhere and she barely made it. I'd give 0 stars if I could. read more

We use to bring our 3 yorkies here back when Dr Lopez first opened this practice and never had any issues. He would always take care of my dogs himself. We had an emergency with my daughters dog and took her to them. We asked for Dr Lopez and he never called us back or saw us. They said we had to see a Dr. Sinka. He told my husband to leave the dog there to try to figure out what was going on. Hours later called my husband and said the dog has kidney failure but was really not sure what else was going on with her, and said we should try to bring her to another emergency vet hospital. So we said we would be on our way down there, while we were driving from Fort Myers to Naples they called us many times stating the dog was declining and we had to get there. When we arrived we saw Dr Lopez leaving and didn't even look at us. Upon arrival the dog was on oxygen and was dying. They tried to tell me to get her to another emergency hospital but how could I she would not make the commute. Even there tech nurse said she would not make it. There was no compassion from Dr. Sinka or the staff at all. He just wanted us to leave for emergency vet hospital and get our dog out of there. So we decided to put her down as she was suffering. They could not care less about the dog or our feeling. Dr Lopez what happened to your compassion like in the beginning. They just billed us an astronomical amount, and overcharged for paw print. You have another vet tending to your business who don't care. So sorry but we will never use your practice or refer you again. took my dog there because he was throwing up blood, after $ 1400.00 worth of test they send us home with some antibiotics. i called them back and told them the condition of my dog hadn't changed and requested to talk to the doctor who would not come to the phone and did not return any of my message s i left for him. Please avoid this place, I took my dog in because he was not eating and throwing up, and having trouble swallowing, he was really sick, the vet tech took my info, the doctor came in and for maybe 3 mins, then sent the vet tech back in saying he needed to run xrays labs and other test, when I picked my dog back up 4 hours later like they ask me to, the doctor said everything was normal, sent him home with antibotics and something for vomiting which were in pill form, I needed liquid, had to fuss with them on the phone and go back the next day and pay another 50 dollars for 5 days of amoxicillin which said he needed more but i would haft to come back and buy more, and the reports they give me were incorrect by far, none of the transcribed notes were anything near what I had told them, and called my boy dog a she which was very unprofessional, They charged 1400 dollars for very poor service and they were rude, not a bit sincere. My dog ended up at the emergency vet hospital 3 days later in ICU and the doctors there were wonderful at Florida Veterianary Referral Center, they saved my babies life. So PLEASE stay away from this place if you love your animals, Because the staff was rude and Dr. Istvan Sinka did not help my dog one bit, he would have died if we did not take him to the vet er hospital. I would not even give them 1 star but it makes you pick something. Thank you to who ever reads this long message, hope it helps you make your mind up about this vet. read more

Judy - Maybe if your two front desk associates would have explained that to us and our existing vet instead of confusing us with misinformation we would not have been so frustrated. Our vet made two different phone calls and we made two additional calls and no one ever said we needed an office visit to fill the prescription. Additionally, one of your associates blatantly lied to me and said that you "didn't have the prescription we needed" and that is why we needed a visit. You had the generic prescription on hand. And it shouldn't matter if it were a few minutes before you closed. If you really were trying to help your patients you would extend your time by a few minutes. I stand by my rating and apparently so do many others. Thank goodness for social media and the ability to write reviews so that others can learn from prior experiences. Hopefully you will improve your business practices. read more

One star as this establishment does appear to be clean, bright and state of the art. However, I cannot in good conscience recommend this vet clinic to others. As out of state residents spending the winter in Naples our dog developed a confusing condition to which we took her to CVH where a urinalysis was performed. The test results came back very good - however, we KNOW our dog and she was having issues that were explained in detail to the Dr. The overall interest (or lack of) by the Dr was very concerning at the time. We asked (more than once) to then have blood work drawn (these recommendations came from our home vet when we placed a call back home.) The blood was drawn and we were told we would be called with the results. We also wished to address an incontinence issue that had just begun. We asked about a certain prescription and was told it would not be a problem to start her on the pills. Repeatedly we were told that "It's expensive" from blood being drawn to getting the incont meds, etc. When it comes to the care of our pets we typically do not skimp - however at the time I did not know we would be taken advantage of either. We were told that Prion (incont meds) are "expensive" - we needed them to get through the night so after hearing the RX is $195 we felt we had no choice but to pay the price. After a QUICK exam (to which the Dr said VERY LITTLE) we paid & left. Googling possible side effects of our new incont med I discovered that a months supply (national avg) is $25-35. ($195???!!!) The next day I called into the clinic to discuss the exorbitant Prion price. After being placed on hold for 12 mins I had to hang up and call again. I was told "Sorry, we got busy" - I was then told by the receptionist that the meds were being discontinued so the clinic purchased a large supply and this is the price that the director had set them (a call to the lab that manufacturers them later proved the 'discontinued' to be not factual.) I was told that I would be given a call by the director the next day. (No call ever came) 6 days after the blood was drawn I had not heard back from the clinic. I called and was told it was received 'yesterday' (of course, no call ever came) I asked about the results and was told there were a few things of 'possible concern' that could be discussed (same person that I had the previous meds phone call with) I was told that the Dr was at lunch and would call me back when he returned. You guessed it - No call ever came. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Today our dog went into the emergency hospital for care (her weight dropped from 118 to 106 lbs over the course of time I was 'waiting' to be called back from that LONG lunch hour.) The issues we struggle with: ~ The lack of interest from the Dr on staff. ~ The prescriptive meds could have been given in a smaller dosage (we were not given the option of purchasing just a handful and pricing this RX ourselves) ~ The lack of promised returned phone call addressing the price-gouging. ~ The dishonesty behind the price-gouging. ~ The lack of phone call to the client when the blood work arrived back to the clinic. ~The lack of returned phone call once the client called to get the results of said blood work. The ONLY thing that this clinic did not 'drop the ball on' is at the time of calling to ask if results had ever came back was asking to have said results sent to my email so that I could then send to my home vet after it became very apparent the disinterest in the patient had extended well beyond the exam room. 'Buyer Beware' on this one. It appears all the lights are on - but no one is home unfortunately. read more

One of my dogs has something going on in her abdomen causing slight pain and hunched back. I called around Monday to find a vet that could do an ultrasound that day because my vet only does them once a month by calling in a specialist tech to do them. They referred me to Concierge Veterinary Hospital (CVH) in Naples. CVH assured me they could perform the ultrasound. After an initial exam, the vet recommended blood work and X-rays in the hope that an ultrasound wasn't needed. After those tests, the vet recommended an ultrasound. This is not a complaint against the vet, staff, or facility, it is just to report the pricing of these tests compared to my regular vet Eastside Animal Clinic (EAC) and the Emergency Pet Hospital (EPH) on Dudley. Bloodwork: EAC $416, EPH $348, CVH $489 Ultrasound: EAC $325, CVH $905 X-rays: EAC $ 135 (2016) , EPH $188, CVH $533. They don't read anything themselves, send away for radiologist and consult. They also do not accept checks and add a 3% processing fee for credit card use. read more

Clinic was uncompassionate, untruthful, with no dedication to the human pet bond. Brought our healthy, energetic six month old small breed Yorkie in to get spayed at 8:45 am. Concierge was going to call by 3:00 with an update. No call was received, therefore became concerned and called clinic at 3:50. Was informed Lucy had stopped breathing during surgery at 1:45, but they were able to bring her back. Shockingly were then informed we needed to find a 24 hour emergency hospital. Surprised, if she was still alive that they did not have this all set up. By the time we arrived at Concierge Lucy's lifeless body was cold and seemed to have been deceased. Dr claimed heart was beating but we could not see the monitor because Dr was standing in front of it. Cause of death is unknown, no autopsy was performed. The week following Lucy's death no compassion or remorse was given actually received threats from vet if we went public with this information. Yorkies can have difficulty handling anesthesia, Concierge did not express any concerns on her size. We feel Conceirge did not give us their highest level of competence, truthfulness, timely communication, and perform their singular goal of excellence in everything they do. read more

If you love your pet do not trust the care they receive here. I have had at least one dog and/or cat everyday of my lengthy adult life and have lived in many states. In the last 34 years I have never found a better veterinary care provider.......Until they failed me and my beloved dog through their lack of basic care and competence. To start my dog had a mass on her under arm area that I told Dr. Lopez on numerous occasions would get large then shrink down repeatedly. He told me, "Don't worry about it, it's nothing." I hate that I ever trusted him and didn't get a second opinion. Yes, he has a beautiful facility and it is clean and the people are nice but the lack of basic veterinary medicine knowledge is ridiculous. First of all, that description is textbook for a mast cell CANCER. Every veterinarian I have seen knows that....except CVH. So, I was uncomfortable leaving it and requested a removal and biopsy which was done. As is standard my dog had pre-operative blood work. At no time was I told there was anything to be concerned about. My dog had the surgery, came home and seemed fine. After 2 weeks I hadn't heard about the biopsy results. I called and left message after message and received a message back that the biopsy results were delayed. I kept calling and never heard back so after 4+ weeks of waiting I drove to the clinic to get a copy of the results only to find out that my dog had cancer, kidney issues and a heart condition!!! To say I was LIVID was an understatement! I was then turfed to a clinic manager......apparently the vets are not only incompetent but cowards as well. I was then told my dog needed to be on a few heart meds for heart failure and a heart murmur detected by the vets, she needed an urgent EKG and "the surgery got clean margins and no further care was necessary". The manager was apologetic but I never talked to or saw a veterinarian again. As I no longer had any trust in the clinic I took my dog to a cardiologist who did another exam and EKG and I was told it was lucky I brought her in because she had NO heart issues and the medications prescribed could have killed her. Of course, I immediately informed Concierge that they almost killed my dog but no return call. In response I was sent a $2700 bill for her care which I refused to pay as they put me and my dog through hell through their gross negligence. In addition, I took my dog to an Oncologist that stated the margins of the surgery were inadequate and my dog needed 12 weeks of radiation. Ironically, my dog had all of her tests repeated at a competent clinic and there were NO abnormalities! I don't even know if my dog's blood was even the sample they sent. To add insult to injury they sent the $2700 bill to collections to try to ruin my credit. I have reported them to the Board of Veterinary Medicine but in the event nothing is done, or it takes years for them to be held accountable, BEWARE!!! read more
