It was my first time attending this yearly musical event. It's held the day before Independence Day and since this was the 250th celebration, I had to join in with family.
It's held at the Riverside National Cemetery. Everything is organized. Attendees are directed to the parking areas. Plenty of staff directing the traffic. There are shuttles from the parking lot to the outdoor venue, an amphitheater.
Despite the concert being held at a cemetery, the numerous palm trees and body of water is quite nice. Many people are spread throughout the grounds.
Live music is always a treat! The Riverside Philharmonic played different genres of music from patriotic to movie music scores. read more
