Horrible, unhelpful, don't care about patients. Avoid this place. Shocking how unwilling they are to even do basic care.

I am writing to formally report a concerning experience I had during my recent appointment at…read moreDartmouth Hitchcock Manchester. I initially sought care after being advised by an urgent care provider to follow up with a specialist sooner rather than later. When I first contacted the office to schedule an appointment, I was informed that new patients were not being scheduled until August. I accepted this and ended the call. However, the following morning I received a call from your office asking if I could come in that same day at 11:00 AM. No explanation was provided for the urgency, so I assumed the doctor may have reviewed my imaging and felt it was important for me to be seen promptly. When I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, the wait time was short, and the nurse who brought me back was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, my interaction with Dr. Gould was very disappointing. Upon entering the room, his demeanor felt dismissive and rushed. After briefly examining the lump, he simply stated that it was indeed a lump and then presented two options: he could remove it, or I could leave it alone and monitor it. At no point during the visit was I given an explanation of what the lump might be, what the potential diagnoses could include, whether it was urgent or likely benign, or what risks were associated with either option. When I began asking, "What would you recommend...," before I could finish my question Dr. Gould interrupted me and stated, "I gave you two options, you'll have to decide which one." As a patient who is not medically trained and who was understandably concerned about a mass that had been discovered, I was hoping for guidance, explanation, and an opportunity to ask questions. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and left me without the information needed to make an informed medical decision. Because of this experience, I left the appointment feeling frustrated, confused, and without answers about a health concern that had already caused significant anxiety. I hope this feedback can be used to improve communication with patients in situations where they are seeking clarity, reassurance, and professional guidance regarding potentially serious health issues.

Thank God for all the wonderful providers at DHC. I am pleased with all the improvements.read more

Normally I have great experiences at this urgent care, as I'm a mom with two kids in Bedford we are…read morehere quite often. Anyway, this visit was for me (second one and the same week) I returned after a suspected ear infection that continued to grow worse. The doctor who handled me was great, the nurse on the other hand terrible. She had light blonde super curly hair- something on her name badge that said "if I'm late, it's because I saw a dog". I'm saying this because I do hope management sees. Unfortunately, I couldn't see her full name as her hair covered a portion of her name tag all I could get was "drey" and of course she walked in the room didn't even introduce herself. Anyway, she had terrible bedside manner & seemed really irritated to be working on a Sunday as a nurse. As we finished I said well if I'm not feeling any better should I just go to ER? She looked at me like I was crazy and said "idk? go to an ENT or something?" I was like I'll Just take the discharge paperwork, she couldn't even go confirm with the doctor. Turns out the pain was shingles and I'm lucky to have went to the ER the following day. Some people truly are meant to be nurses, this one was NOT.

The facility was immaculate and they took great care of my mom. I would absolutely recommend this urgent care.

The PA told me that I needed to see a doctor because there is nothing they can do and all they did was a strep test. I am never coming back because it was such a waste of time and money.

The…read morefront lady was very accommodating as I couldn't open my eyes in the bright light (had grabbed my regular glasses instead of my rx glasses on accident) and I literally had to hand her my whole wallet and ask her to grab my insurance info. I waited only a couple mins after check in and saw a man (I forget his name but he mentioned he is also an EMT in Manchester) who was the nicest medical professional I had ever dealt with. I felt uncomfortable talking with my eyes closed and without asking he left and went to get his sunglasses in another room so I could wear them to feel more comfortable. He apologized he couldn't turn off the lights until IV was done being put in. My veins were very uncooperative because of dehydration from vomiting, so after a couple unsuccessful tries and him profusely apologizing even though it wasn't his fault, he grabbed a smaller needle and it went in just great. I was done by closing time at 8pm (the longest being the time it took for the bag of fluids to finish) and I'm very grateful this new Urgent Care is here so I wouldn't have to go to ER. You all know how horrifically long I would've been there had I gone to ER- I know from past experience as these cluster headaches tend to happen once or twice yearly and my migraine meds fail to help. I left feeling about 80% better (still had some nausea despite having IV nausea med) but by the next morning after sleep I felt 100% better. I wanted to make sure I left this review because I still think about that medical professional and how nice he was because I have never felt so cared for in a medical setting in my life. If I ever have to go there again I PRAY he is there. Wish I remembered his name but I'm really bad at remembering names.
