I arrived a few minutes before opening. They open the door at exactly 8 AM. I was second in line, but waited to go into a room for 80 minutes. The staff was all VERY nice, but seemingly operate with 0 urgency. I had to use 2 hours of vacation time to speak with a provider for 3 minutes. I would say if you have no other option, go here. But otherwise look for maybe a less busy place. I would again emphasize how kind and patient everyone working there is, it is just too busy and understaffed. My employer referred me here, so I walked in on Tuesday at 3:30 PM. The whole thing took an hour after checking in. After filling out a brief form on your phone, my weight and blood pressure was measured. Then, I was taken to a room after 30 minutes. The physical was simple and quick, and I'm glad the process was painless. The room did get a bit stuffy inside, although it was cold outside. While I was waiting, I read the reviews and was worried I came at the wrong time, even though we were instructed by our company to come here. I was dreading the wait, so I actually started stretching and napping in there until the doctor arrived. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait like most other people did. I came to Concentra Urgent Care for a pre-employment physical, rapid drug screen, and alcohol breath test. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Their center is very clean. Delfino brought me back and was incredibly professional and kind throughout the process. I was then seen by one of the PAs, who was just as kind and made the experience comfortable. Despite the clinic being busy, the entire visit took about an hour and 25 minutes, which is impressive--especially considering I've worked in occupational health and know how hectic these places can get. I had read several negative reviews about long wait times, but that was not my experience at all. Everything was organized and efficient. I'm not sure her name but her email is blalopez@concentra.com, she is very unprofessional and has a horrible attitude. I came to do a urine sample and physical for my job and the email said to just provide them with the email on my phone she told me "no you need to print it and added sometimes we are nice enough to print it for you but you need to go print it and make sure your back before 3 because that the cut off time." She made me go print the form and come back she could have easily just printed it for me. On top of that while I was waiting she let someone else email her and she told of the girls working with her I will just print everything tomorrow morning. I came yesterday at 3:43 and they said the cut off was 3:30 so is it 3 or 3:30 because they don't close until 5pm. This location is very unorganized and unprofessional. read more

Great workflow for an understaffed clinic, everyone here complaining about the wait but I don't think realize you CAN NOT rush health and the wait was expected to be 2 hours but was seen an hour later. Bring snacks in case an emergency happens and it takes longer but for sure recommend they take good care of you from signing in to waiting and getting seen, perfect place to go to if you need to wait and won't be so dreading! read more

Physical therapist was also amazing except for receptionist/scheduler at front desk in the Physical Therapy 2nd floor, I believe her name is Missy or Nissy, not very welcoming nor good communication and people skills in person or over the phone. She is rude and instead of being happy to assist, she seemed bothered to do so. She seemed bothered to assist in rescheduling my appointment, I've never felt so uncomfortable by trying to reschedule an appointment anywhere nor have I ever been asked "and what is the reason you can't make it in to your appt" plus having an attitude while asking! Very conveniently located, we were happy to discover that we could come here for VA urgent care without having to drive all the way to the VA in Long Beach. Parking was plentiful, which was another huge plus, anyone that has been to the VA knows how packed their lots can be. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, the front desk staff were friendly and professional. The waiting room was spacious and clean. Fortunately we didn't have to wait very long and were taken back within 10-15 minutes of arriving. The nurse in the back was also friendly and the doctor came in within another 10-15 minutes. Issue was resolved quickly and we were on our way under an hour of our arrival time. Their facility was very clean, and they all provided excellent service. I had one terrible experience here and one okay experience. The terrible one is that it took me 4 hours to get a physical. Four! I waited in the waiting room for about 1.5 hours, then got my eyes checked which took 30 seconds. Then, waited in the doctors office for another hour. The doctor came stumbling in and looked like she was about to pass out from fatigue. She assured me she wasn't new to medicine. Without asking any other questions, she took my heart rate. That's it. 1.5 hours for her to take my heart rate and have no other notes about it. They then referred me to the upstairs physical therapy for my physical check. That took about 15 minutes. The only plus was I got paid to be there for 4 hours but it still was very frustrating, inefficient, unprofessional. read more

Worst type of care here, they do t care about you the doctor all they recommend is therapy and they will do a-xray , mri or ct doesn't cover cost, beware they work with your employer. They believe therapy will get you better by doing some type of exercise they don't massage your body or nothing they make you work for your body .Office experience is rude, I don't recommend concentra at all disapprove you come in with a broken leg they still want you to work they never give you time off work. This place is a piece of joke!!!!! I waited 2 hrs to get a TB test and what I thought was a physical. Later to find out they never even registered me for a physical, another 30 min wait for that. Then later another 40 min wait for the medical provider to see me. Concentra personal was nice and polite. But the management team here needs to step it up and find a better process to get people in and out. This poor man came in with a work injury and told him the wait would be 3hrs. Are you kidding me, poor guy left. Probably better off going to a regular urgent care that's not through his employer. Not to mention it was only 9AM. Horrible wait times! Everyone from new patients to follow-up patients with prior appointments are expected to wait for at least an hour (usually more) after checking in. Be prepared to wait even longer after the assistants let you in to the exam room. I've had to phone my company multiple times to extend my time off because of the wait. FYI, I was referred here by my insurance for workers comp treatment and I should have done my research. Demand they send you to a different medical facility! That said, their physical therapy section is much more forthcoming about staffing issues or busy times, and keeps to their appointment times more religiously. read more
