The nurse tried to tell me I had allergies even after I told her I've never had allergies several times and had sinusitis previously. After all of this she still said "yeah allergies are tough" in a condescending manner before leaving. Thankfully the doctor listened to me and gave me proper treatment, including antibiotics and a referral to an ENT. I don't understand why people like the nurse go into healthcare, they don't listen to their patients and think they know better meanwhile I had (and still have) chronic sinusitis so bad that I have now been through 4 rounds of antibiotics and might need surgery. I'm glad she's not a doctor because I would feel sorry for her patients. I would give the doctor 5 stars as he was knowledgeable and helped me on the path to recovery. Nurse has no business in healthcare and I hope this urgent care realizes that eventually.

Our 1 year old was having trouble keeping food down after getting her immunization shot the day prior. She was puking her food out and she was very lethargic. Our pediatrician is with Stanford and I called the Stanford Advice Nurse over the phone - they suggested that we go to an urgent care where a provider can see her. They recommended a Sutter Health Pediatric Urgent Care. (I was confused as to why Stanford would suggest Sutter) We then visited for a 12:45 PM appointment today. MA took some vitals and we waited inside the room for about 30 minutes. When the Dr. came in, he didn't introduce himself. He didn't even use his stethoscope - he just said she looks fine. He showed her back and that there's no signs of asphyxiation. He did not give me any confidence of next steps and exam was over. Upon exit, I had to ask the front desk for an after visit summary. He went inside to talk to the Dr - and Dr came out confused as to why I'm asking for more details and that he already explained my daughter is fine. I was frustrated, I want paper trail, I want explanation of what transpired, I needed confidence that I can move on with next steps. Over the next few hours, my daughter who's less than 2 years old vomited at least 3 more times. We decided to go Stanford ER - something I should have started with instead of wasting my time with Sutter Health. Stanford vs Sutter Health is a night and day difference in service - choose wisely. The Stanford ER is taking the correct medical precautions and we are investigating further. If this turns out to be something serious - trust me Sutter Health, I will take legal action. PS: I am still waiting for my after visit summary

From the time getting into the office to leaving took about 1.5 hrs. This was quite long as there was only 1 patient waiting ahead of me and many more that came in after me. There was only one front staff and one attending doctor. Javier obtained my insurance card and photo ID to check my copay while I filled out 3 pages that included patient intake and Release of Info. I give him props for being able to hold his fort in the front but also takes you to the medical room and does you BP & temp prior to you seeing the doctor. The attending doctor was Dr Tam Nguyen who appears to have a nice bedside manner and seem personable. I explained to him my symptoms and he follow up with checking my ears, mouth, and listen to my breathing. I had a hunch already that i had the flu but it was so severe I couldnt move. I was in need to meds. He confirmed I had the flu. He explained the flu process and reason for prescribing each of the medication he is suggesting. An overall good experience but I would up to 5 stars if the time to be seen in & out is less than 1 hr. FYI, not sure how it came about during my visit but Dr Nguyen shared that they do not serve children ages 6 and under.

I've been here through a walk-in twice, my first time for a middle ear infection after an unsuccessful ER visit and the second time for something a little more personal that involved blood drawing. I never have to wait too long to see someone and the staff are really friendly and professional. I got treated for my middle ear infection right away compared to the ER which prescribed me the wrong antibiotics at first. I got my blood drawn on the second visit, but I was dehydrated and had to come back the next day. They called me to ask if I was drinking enough water throughout the day and if I wanted, could come earlier than my scheduled appointment. They care about their patients! Shoutout to Vivian T. and Sophia who made my blood drawing session more tolerable :) The only con I have is the Kyla app which takes forever to go through the steps the first time you are using the app. You have to enter all of your information and then take pictures of your insurance card, which sometimes could be glitchy. You need to use it to check in for both walk-ins and scheduled appointments. Otherwise, this clinic isn't bad if you need to get a quick check-up that doesn't need an ER visit at first thought, but waiting to meet your primary doctor by an appointment would take too long.

I probably should have gone in for the ingrown nails years ago, but it got to the point I couldn't stand to put on shoes, so I finally went. We did one foot at a time, which was a good idea - the first one was pretty painful, but the second went smoother. The numbing shots weren't fun, but he distracted me by chatting with me, and he was quick and efficient. In my four visits we had some interesting conversations. What sticks out to me is that in one he said he doesn't wear a white coat because he feels that it puts a barrier between him and his patient. I recommend him as a doctor, but he also has an amazing bedside manner. I felt like an individual - not just a patient. He really cared about me and my outcome.
