X-ray tech isn't on site the same time the clinic is open. They should have one on premise the entire time.

They charged more than $900, of which my insurance allowed $400. $400 for a 15 min appointment out of pocket - that's more than a CEO makes. That's absolute insanity. Do not recommend! Update: so far One Medical has refused to recode my visit to comply with my insurance coverage. You would think that a subscription service would at least try to minimize your out of pocket by taking a look at your insurance and suggesting which appointment type to book under.

After reading the reviews here, I had a positive experience with nurse practitioner, Judith Alderman. I understood billing could be an issue. I needed a PCP, as we all do, otherwise you can find yourself in heap of a mess, so I called to verify that they accept my insurance. If you have insurance but get a huge bill, call and ask to have it recoded. My first appointment for a heathcare review went well - lots of questions. Judith advised me I no longer needed routine screenings for cervical cancer yet only the week before my DOCTOR, a specialists, wanted to see me every 3 years, so this center should not be your only source for health information particularly if you have other health issues/concerns. The office is comfortable and spacious. The bad fake Fiddle Leaf Fig trees look out of place in the nice office, especially as they sit in front of gorgeous windows with plenty of light. Real Fiddle Leafs are ridiculously easy to care for, and there are places like officeplants.com that will bring and care for live plants. There are health benefits to live plants too, but ok. The lights over the seating area are huge white flowers and are amazing. You do have to download the app but it seems all medical groups either have an app to communicate with patients or will be getting one. UCLA, Sutter Health and Stanford, all share access to your health history and now prescriptions are all electronically sent through a main database, "Prescription Drug Monitoring System". Government agencies, like police departments, have access to PDMS, so let's face it, our healthcare is no longer as private as we'd like. The app is faster when you're expecting lab results or have a question, you'll get responses and results much faster. Overall, a great experience.

My husband's bill came promptly and was perfectly correct. After more than six months and several incorrect bills, they finally billed me, somewhat correctly. At least it was not the extreme overcharge of the first two attempts. Luckily I had my husband's correct bill for reference. Very glad this office is just for after hours care. Would not want to deal with their billing department on a regular basis. The first two times they sent the incorrect billing, I called them and explained their mistake. Each time they waited several months, and instead of sending me a correct bill, they sent a collection agency warning letter. Then I called them again and explained again. Each the very polite offshore customer service representative said all would be well. Finally the third time the billing was close enough to correct that I was willing to pay it.

Between signing up on the app and getting in touch with a Dr it was about less than 10 minutes. I did like that the Dr wasn't in a rush as many are in person and in the comfort of my own car nonetheless. One of the biggest benefits is not having to deal with the office administrators of a doctors office. Sometimes as nice as a Dr can be, the front of the house can really turn people off and we all know how hard it is to find a good fit.

I have visited Carbon Health at Hillsdale Mall several times in the past, but today I experienced…read morethe worst service I have ever received. I went to the clinic twice in the same day, first as a walk-in and later with a scheduled appointment. On my second visit, I waited for over 70 minutes and received no meaningful update about when I would be seen. Eventually, I had no choice but to leave. What was most disappointing was the receptionist's attitude. She appeared friendly and attentive to some patients, while being noticeably dismissive and rude toward others. As a patient, it is frustrating to feel ignored and treated differently, especially when already dealing with a health concern. Waiting can happen in healthcare settings, and most patients understand that. However, there is a big difference between unavoidable delays and poor communication combined with a lack of respect. After 70 minutes, I could have gone to another urgent care clinic and received treatment elsewhere. Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience today. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both customer service and communication with patients.
