Was here for a physical for a new job and something was off in the paperwork and I almost had to drive 30mins out of my way and back to fix it. But Marty was SO kind that he looked for a copy of it so I wouldn't have to do that and he found one. The genuine effort was so appreciated even if he hadn't found it. There people have always been great, We use this facility for work related injuries and drug test. There is a wait because like any medical office injuries are first. People need to understand that and you will find ignorance in people who only think of themselves. read more

By far the nicest staff I have ever met! I want to say thank you to Janet and Marty! They were so helpful! I came in for a pre-employment screening and had a mishap and didn't have the proper paperwork on me. Thankfully Janet printed out my paper work for me! On top of that she also printed out paperwork that I needed for a background check (that I needed for pre-employment and unfortunately the paper work got ruined) I'm so grateful she printed it out for me! She is seriously a life saver! And Marty was so kind to me! I'm from Glendora and its about an hour drive to get to lake forest and Marty was so kind to mention that there are other locations near me! So when I come back to get my test results for my TB test I can just go to the healthworks closer to me instead of driving back out! Thank you so much you guys! :) read more

I am a very patient and understanding person and I have never walked out of a business, but I walked out of this US HealthWorks. I just moved back to the area and because my health insurance through my employer is based in San Diego, I am limited as to where I can go. I called this US HealthWorks location and asked if my insurance was accepted, and they said yes, so I headed on over. Come to find out, they would only take my insurance if it was PPO, not HMO. So I went outside to call my insurance and see if any location around here accepted my HMO insurance and there wasn't, so I just said oh well, I'll pay the $110 out of pocket exam fee. By this time, I was feeling so terrible with a sinus infection, I just wanted to be seen. So I went back into US HealthWorks and received the paperwork and filled it out. When I went to the counter to turn in my paperwork, it all went downhill. There were 3 women behind the desk, one being on the phone and making appointments or something. One of the women was a younger woman and it was either her first week of the job, or she was just completely incompetent. This young woman was on the phone with a client and wasn't sure of the answer to the question the person was asking. She raised her voice to the other woman behind the counter, who mind you was working with a client, and asked her a question. The woman did not respond because she was in the middle of helping the client, but the young woman waited about 5 seconds and repeated the question. The woman helping the client finally said for the young woman to just take a message. The young woman repeated the question once again and the woman helping the client said she would help the young woman when she was done. Well, the young woman got back on the phone and told the client, "_______ will help you in just a second" and put him on hold. She couldn't figure it out on her own, so she passed it to someone else who was already busy, WTF? Then, there was a client waiting at the counter and this young woman attempted to help her, but yet again, the young woman had to ask the other woman behind the desk what to do. This went on for about 10 minutes. Anything this young woman would try to do would just make the situation worse. She could not do anything for herself. Customer service would have been more efficient and pleasurable if she wasn't there. I could tell the other woman was getting super irritated, but was keeping her cool. I applaud that woman, because I am one of the most patient people and I could not take being around the circus that young woman was creating. Even feeling so terrible, waiting in pain for another hour or two for another clinic was better than being there. read more

The worst experience with a PA/physician who does not listen. Took my son in and was treated poorly. Would not take anyone there. Ever.

I almost didn't come here due to the poor reviews but my experience was far better than I ever expected. Everyone was super friendly and kind. Ended up that my foot was broken but the experience in the clinic was fast, professional and friendly. read more

This place is garbage. The front desk employees aren't even sure what insurance they accept. I reached out to my insurance directly and was sent to this location but was turned away. A complete waste of time! How can people be so useless and collect a pay check? STAY AWAY! read more

I have had to come here multiple times for a very intense pre employment process. The whole staff was so very kind...especially Marty. They really do get swamped..as medical facilities often do..but it is obvious they do the best they can to get you in and out of there quickly. read more

US Health Works Medical Group in Lake Forest is awesome. The staff is wonderful, hardworking and very efficient. This clinical office is always very busy and that's why you have to wait. When have you not waited at a walk-in medical office? The fact that the Doctor and the nurses are giving specific care to each patient is what causes delays, which in my opinion is a good thing. I would rather have great quality care and wait, rather than be herded through the door like just another number with poor quality care. My experience with each encounter was extremely positive through out my visit. The entire staff followed through with all of my needs, goals and questions in a professional and pleasant manner. If there was a zero star option, then that would be my grade for this place. Had to wait for two hours for a standard drug test, and this was after I called the corporate office to complain. When I arrived, the sign posted indicated a wait time of 45 mins. Asked the front desk guy, and he said for me it should be shorter as it was a drug test. Needless to say, it wasn't and I was finally called back after asking to speak to the office manager. The guy at the front desk along with the person who finally assisted me were friendly. I only came in for a pre-employment physical and drug test, but I was actually pretty impressed how helpful and nice the staff was to me and everyone in the waiting area. Granted there was a bit of a wait and people complained, but that's always to be expected anywhere. read more

Without a doubt the worst "medical" facility I have ever had to be at in my entire life. Disorganized with zero sense of urgency. They should pay patients to come there instead of the other way around. I am guessing it's so cheap for workers comp and that's why it's on the approved facilities list. No surprise since apathy and laziness reigns supreme. As other reviewers have noted, there should be a zero star option. Someone I work with actually dropped their wc claim and just paid for their work related case using their personal physician. I asked for a new doctor and was able to go elsewhere thankfully. I suggest you do the same if you require medical tests or treatment. read more

They are unorganized and the wait is ridiculous: 1:20 hour wait for a vaccination shot that is done in 5 minutes!

I could pretty much cut and paste just about any of the reviews already posted. More of the same issues when I brought my fiance here for follow up care after a work related injury. Only came here because it's the clinic her employer uses for work related injuries. When we arrived there was a sign up that said 1.5-2 hour wait would be expected. (A PRE MADE sign I might add indicating that this is such a common occurrence that they had to make a sign) It's been an hour and a half now and she still hasn't been seen yet so it appears that at least the sign is still accurate. 3.5 hours to be seen. I'm finishing this review 3 weeks after I started it. Even with APPOINTMENTS you have to wait 2 to 3 hours to be seen! This place is a hole and you should avoid it like the plague unless you have nothing better to do than waste your day in an uncomfortable hole of a waiting room. Giving this place one star is too much. Oh...and by the way? If you complain about your wait? They threaten to call the police on you. Avoid this hell hole like the plague. We had 4 appointments here. Each and every one cost us half a day in wait times and that was WITH an appointment! Also forgot to add: some of the staff members seem to have an issue taking blood pressures correctly. They get a dangerously high pressure then simply write it down with no concern. (Luckily, I knew it was wrong because I knew my fiance had no issues with hypertension and I re - took it after the idiot who took it left the room) There's a medical assistant who works here named Martin who is the ONLY good thing about this place. Martin: You are good enough that you don't need to stay at that awful place! Go find a place worthy of your obvious talents and people skills! If you want to go to an urgent care that actually CARES then this isn't the place! I've reviewed other urgent cares if you care to go to a place that will actually care for you and not act like nazi's if you complain and threaten to call the police. read more

Wish I could leave zero stars. Waited close to 3 hours to take a physical/drug screen. When I was mailed my results the form I provided had absolutely nothing filled out. I called their lab to get my results and was hung up on when the lady could not answer my questions. I then had to go back to US healthworks in lake forest to have them fill out the paperwork they should have in the first place, and the lab sent my results to long beach. Very unorganized. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Agree with other posts. Avoid this location. Waited 1hour and 15min for a drug test. Poor communication and customer service from front desk regarding wait times didn't help. I also witnessed an awkward exchange with employees complaining to one another about who was responsible for a certain task. read more

I absolutely loved Kathy ! She was in the greatest mood! And was a total sweetheart with me. I will definitely recommend friends/family members to go there. The only thing I didn't like were the two male receptionist. They weren't smiling or greeting anyone. The thing they can at least try and do is PRETEND THEY LIKE WORKING FOR THAT FACILITY. this place is a joke. horrible staff. horrible doctors. horrible wait time for scheduled appointments. multiple times have had to wait hours for an appointment that has been scheduled for weeks. and it is now past closing time and i am still here waiting to see the doctor. it is after their closing time. these people are a joke. my appointment was at 4pm. is is now about 6 o'clock and haven't moved a muscles. staff is rude, disrespectful. this clinic just wants your money. doesn't actually care about your health. sorry people. you are a joke. this shouldn't even be a doctors facility. or medical facility at that. read more

I've been to this office a few times now because of a Workers Comp injury that I have to follow up on. If it were up to me I'd never come back here! I'm so fed up with this office. Every time I come here I have to wait over an hour to be seen, even though I come for the exact same reason every few weeks. A simple blood draw then the following week lab results. Every visit I end up complaining a few times before they eventually bring me back for a simple few minute visit. Today's visit was beyond ridiculous! I waited over an hour to speak to the doctor for literally 30 seconds. The Doctor came in and said " Hi how are you? Everything looks great, you can make your next appointment for March." I went up to the front desk to make my next appointment which took 10-15 minutes to even do that! I voiced that I really needed to leave as I was beyond late for work and was told by a lady at the front that next time I'll be put on a "fast track", that I'll never have to wait more than 5 minutes again. She gave me her card and told me if I'm ever waiting longer than 5 minutes to all her to be brought back. So it took 6 visits and a load of complaints to now hear about a "fast track." I also was given a note to return to work to show my employer that I was at my appointment. On this note to return to work it stated I had been at the office since 10:47 am. Which I had been there since 10am! This means I waited for 47 minutes before they even decided to register me! I'm an MA/Phlebotomist and work not too far from this office and I know offices get busy, but this place needs to get it together! Thankfully I have 2 visits left at this office and I'll never come back again. I've let my employer know about the difficulty I've had with this office so they can send employees elsewhere in the future. read more
