I was sent here as my Workers Comp Dr after being injured at work. So far, I've been quite pleased. Have seen the Dr. assigned to me three out of four visits; when he was especially behind for one of my check ups, they had me see his associate, with only minimal delay. I have had no issues with front desk staff, or back office personnel. And I'm pleased with the depth of care I'm receiving regarding my injury, even advice on how to best manage both the comp claim and the SDI process. Advice seconded by both my personal physician and my attorney. Next, I also go here twice a week for physical therapy. And I my program is not cookie cutter, and a great deal of attention is paid to treating my injury while coordinating it with other preexisting conditions I have. I'm pleased. read more

Well, I have to put a star just because I can't post it. As soon as you walk in and be greeted by front desks (ma's) they give you a vibe of "why are you here?" Like they don't want you. Yes, every clinics has covid protocols of their own but saying "hey, only patients are allowed during examinations" so we said yes, then few minutes later she said "let me clarify, only patients are allowed even in the lobby." What a RUDE way of telling patients companions that. P.S. I work at a hospital setting for both humans and animals so I do understand when it's rush time, but i have never encountered a rude receptionist/ma's. I would suggest to retrain for common courtesy and hospitality. I just step out of this Concentra urgent care. Beverly is wonderful, caring with great personality and professionalism. Never had such wonderful experience at any of Concentra branches where I happened to be many times before because of the nature of my job requiring lab works and checks; however, my encounter today changed my perception of the organization. Multiple times I tried to avoid Concentra due to my frequent bad customer service, but today it looks like that Concentra at walnut, Fremont scored high due to Beverly and her colleagues. Incompetence, thy name is Concentra. For how low standards I already have for a lot of things in health care, this place met a new low. I can get over rude staff. I can get over unclean facilities, actually no that's bad for a health care place so this is pretty bad already. But I can't even tell if this place is INCOMPETENT or STRAIGHT UP MALICIOUS. They had the audacity to purposely misinterpret the results of my work-required health check test, going against the procedure recommended by known health guidelines AND the methodology of any other clinic where I've done this test before. Medical professionals are supposed to use evidence based practices, but these clowns ignored everything and just pushed the result they wanted because it would force me into additional procedures for them to bill for. But since this was for work, I had no choice. And when I tried to argue, they brought in additional doctors who didn't even really pay attention and just agreed with whatever the first person said without bothering to actually take a real examination themselves. Honestly it felt more like they were just getting more people in the room to intimidate me into accepting their false positive. I don't know if other Concentra clinics are as bad, but please avoid this place at all costs. Your health is important and you shouldn't leave it in the hands of doctors who don't deserve their medical license and assistants who need to go back to middle school to relearn basic critical thinking skills. And maybe take a course on how not to be rude. And malicious. This is actually probably malpractice but I'm not a lawyer so I don't know but if someone can weigh in I feel like these people should have their medical licenses revoked. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Go ANYWHERE ELSE but here!!! I had an appointment early in the morning, came in and filled out the forms and there's 10minutes left until my appointment time. I was early! Tell me why I didn't get called in until two hours later. What's the point of being scheduled an appointment when patients don't get to go in anywhere near the appointment time? I'm not blaming any of the medical workers at all. They did their jobs fine. It was the receptionists that were the WORST! They forgot about me and only remembered after I came up to remind them. They then sent me a form to fill out on my phone (1.5hrs AFTER my appointment time) and then I got sent in 20min after that. The medical lady in the back apologized seeing that my appointment was early in the morning and asked me why I didn't get sent in sooner. That if I had an appointment, I would've gotten sent in not long after that. Then she saw on her computer the time I checked in. I said no, that's the time that the receptionist remembered to send me the form to fill out on my phone (took quickly 3min to do), when I've already been present in the waiting room having all my paper forms filled out and given to them since early in the morning all finished before my appointment time. She saw the time and was like "wow it's already noon you've been here for so long. they should've sent you in a lot sooner! Sorry I was working on all the patients when they should've sent in the appointment patient in (aka ME)!" I'm like NO DUH!!! The receptionist literally screwed up which ended up screwing me over. I wasted so much time, and i knew it was his fault. They kept calling in everyone that came into the clinic after me. I ended up being the only one in the waiting in the waiting room from the morning batch and everyone who later came in was close to noon. When I had an appointment early and everyone else was after me. It's ridiculous. I only had to go here because my company assigned this place for me to get my check ups, so I had no choice. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Last Monday my wife came in to have her ears washed out for ear wax. She nearly passed out from the procedure. I assisted the nurse in preventing her from falling off the exam table. Per the Doctor's directions we returned this Saturday. I went to move a chair so I could sit with my wife, and was told not to move the chair. I informed them what happened on Monday. I was told that family members could NOT be in the exam rooms. call early in the morning to ask about apppointment, said only walk in and was told total time spending in the office " in and out around 90 min" total... arrived at the location 30 mins after the call ... checking and waiting for 2 hrs .... all the people at the station at the time of my visit had gone home ... and I was still waiting in the waiting room with new groups of patients .... checked with the staff and said wait for another 20 mins as there was still 1 more patient in front of me ... checked back in 30 min and still heard 1 more patient in front of me .... = 2.5 hrs of waiting .... check back in another 30 min and said there is still another patients in front of me and my file was pushed 4 binder up and said total waiting time now 4 hrs and I had waited 3 hours already.... instead of 90 min total "in and out" at the time the staff tricked me at the begining to lure me in the office ..... The other lady at the front desk then told me if I didnt want to wait any longer then I can left ... She said with a very bad attitude as in "we dont need patient" .... yah because of your horrible service and "didnt want patient" .... This is the worst place to have to get a drug screen. DO NOT come on Fridays. I waited in line down the front when I can when they first opened at 8. It took 30 min to get to the front of the line to get registered. they told me 30-45 min to get called. ok no problem. when the 45 min came up I went up to check and she hadn't even put my info in the computer yet. waited 20 more minutes asked again they said there was 3 people in front of me but they would not give me an ETA. It has been 2 hours and 30 minutes so far and have not been called. This place is horrible, I wouldn't even call this a healthcare center. I waited 2 hours to get called into a room, then the MA/Nurse? didn't know how to inject a TB test. They never got it under my skin, they were injecting the liquid above the sub-dermal layer, it was just dripping off my arm. I actually had to teach them as they were doing it how to inject the TB test, very little actually got in and by the time I left my bubble was already flat. After that mess, I sat in the room for another 40 minutes because they couldn't find my chart in the system. The ladies that work at the front desk hate their jobs just as much as the people hate going to this place. Whoever owns this business needs to provide better nurses, better office staff, and a better way to sufficiently run this place -- that way there isn't 40 people waiting in a small lobby for 3 hours AND so that patients actually get their health care needs properly met. read more

I've literally never been to a place with better bed side manners. Both Karina and Mary Anna are amazing and this place is open minded to people with social anxiety..in fact- they've just called me while I wait in my car to go in..Karina treats my wound with care and it starts at the front desk-hearing me, a patient talk about it bleeding and putting me in as a sense of urgency and asks that i check in immediately (over the phone because i have phobia about crowds) Thanks Mary Anna! Who also should be respected for being able to speak multiple languages Oh I'd also like to talk about Ryan was so business and on top of his game when doing my ex ray's (I assume he speaks another language than Spanish but that is only my discernment- he asked Mary Anna to translate but she stayed on task with her patient (me) then i said: I'll gladly translate! Mary Anna smiled and said: "that is so kind however it is against the rules"- She is by the book and kind and understood that i wanted to be helpful! Ryan has clearly been in the business for a long time. Ryan did my ex-ray and was clearly proud of his work, thorough and polite. All these people leave baggage and personal info at the door- I never hear about it.This place is the best urgent care I've been to. I wish Nyquist was my primary care and is absolutely fantastic. Huge props the whole staff here. In fact- I'm writing this review as a person with major agoraphobia and autism. As I said- I'm grateful for this company and this site in particular due to their ability to be kind enough to bend for my adults with disabilities-Mary Anna just listened to me discuss something personal- she was on her way out of the office; I don't know if she needed to go to lunch, had another client to speak with or whatever but I know with aspergers comes awareness of my actions after they are taken. It was rude of me to hold Mary (mar-i-han-ah) Anna back and she could've wrote of my perseverating and literally told me "whatever" like every other medical professional but no- she stayed and heard me out. She listened to me babel about something as arbitrary as a blue sky to those that see it as unimportant but people on the spectrum find someone comfortable and literally hold them socially hostage and won't stop talking and often have zero filter. She heard me stop and heard me out. She stayed about five minutes after my vitals were taken- I'm not saying expect this from her because maybe she heard what I had to say about numbers, something that may or may interest her but she stayed because maybe I was so acute in misery with toe pain and have been isolated with just one person to talk to-Mary-Anna- could have ignored me. She didn't. She may have risked a timer I'm not aware of-I don't know but she certainly; also Karena and Nyquist who let me sleep one day because I remember hearing her walk in and say-okay- noticed me sleeping because I'm homeless and was and am treated like dignity to the point to where I am so incredibly comfortable here-I come from Sacramento, California. Nyquist let me rest for five minutes and allowed the kind nurse to come in and show me how to use crutches-which I still- after being thoroughly taught- don't know how to use but don't be quick to judge because I'll pass the mini-bar and bar exam without college and I'm willing to do any mathematics you want. I would give this business and all its other locations a -5 stars if I could. I'm not sure how they operate or if they even know how. The wait times are ridiculously long every single time you go. Even if you show up right at opening, the wait time will be 2 plus hours, if you come in later forget it. You'll be waiting 4 plus hours because they are always "slammed." It seems like the problem is short staffing and disorganization. An appointment system would benefit this place however most things are walk-ins only. A joke. Employers should do a little research before sending people here. It's lowkey disrespectful for anyone to expect you to wait 4-5 hrs for simple things like a fit test, or any other service they offer. I came to Concentra due to the fact the Sutter Urgent Care was full. I had been experiencing sever cold symptoms including pain in my chest. I was worried it was bronchitis due to my mother always getting that after flying. I went in and it was completely empty besides me and one other person. I waited 2 hours in a freezing cold room to be seen( they moved me out of the room because it was even too cold for the doctor). When I was seen, the male doctor proceeded to call me "dumb" for getting my tonsils removed the year prior. Stating it keeps u from getting sick. He check my vitals, my nose, throat, ears, ect. And told me I was fine and needed to go home eat some soup and drink some water. He kept telling me he can't give me anything and treated me like I came there to ask for medication? I sound extremely congested, im having a hard tim breathing, and his exact words were "I don't know what to tell you, you're fine." Next day I went and bought an at home covid test and I'm positive. The doctor was rude, not helpful, and had no patience. Do not recommend this place. read more

I had to come here as a requirement for employment for a health screen and flu shot. As a walk in appointment at around 11am I was told the wait time to been seen was 3 hrs! I ran some errands got lunch and returned at around 1230pm. Sure enough at around 2pm it was finally my turn. After being weighed, measured, etc. I was asked to disrobe down to by underwear and wear a paper gown and wait to be examined. Nurse comes in 10mins later and asks me if I can move to a different room (while still wearing the paper gown) because they need the room to see another patient. Ok fine, I got escorted to a different room across from mine. As of right now as I am writing this review it's about 330 and I am STILL in this paper gown waiting to be checked out. I wish I could just go to Kaiser instead of this place for my screening since I still have kaiser insurance and I know that I would be in and out in under an hr. This place sucks and all the other 1 star reviews should speak for itself. read more

Very rude front desk service, only Dr. Caballero deserves 5 stars! As mentioned already here the front desk lady called Ana is very rude (no comparison to the angel next to her) and gives you the impression that you better not want to stay there. She asked for my reason and I said I think I have a broken finger and would like to get an x-ray. Then she starts dropping all this comments in the hope to give me reasons to leave again. Like "oh btw the x-ray technician already left for the day" (it was 7pm and they close at 8pm), "oh but if you still want to see a doctor today and come back tomorrow then you have to pay twice" "Oh it doesn't look like it but if we wait now it's going to take like 2 hours. There are people waiting in the back already" Just one person was sitting in the waiting room. And really, I am there at 7pm and you tell me 2 hour wait time when you close at 8pm??? I did come again the next day after I had to coordinate with my husband to leave work earlier as we have a 6 months old baby. There she was again trying to add her comments and I just said when I arrived at 4pm "sure I can wait until 8pm". While we were waiting that said lady pissed off some other patients as well and they stormed out of the door. They let me husband sign that Covid paper but then kicked him and my baby out when I got transferred into a room saying only patients in the waiting room, when nobody else was sitting there and it was raining outside. After 2.5 hours I was done but I still tried to make sure that the x-ray technician will see me this time before she leaves. She was a little bit all over the place as well. The only good experience was finally Dr. Veronica Caballero, which is why I gave 2 stars, otherwise it would be 0. She was very nice, patient and knowledgeable also showed sympathy that this long wait time wasn't ok. So bottom line DON'T GO THERE! And Ana should understand if she pisses of people in the front and patients don't come in or back and who is going to pay her paycheck then?? read more

Like many of the other reviews, I agree the wait time was nuts. However, after the long wait I was able to see my Primary caregiver in PA Cabelleros. She is always excellent and will stop at nothing to get you the best care possible. I have been going to Fremont Urgent Care for years and am a little sad that they have merged with this new company and will be devastated if I have to find a new place to go for healthcare.
