They have a rear entrance so no need to walk around. We walked inside and were received by Joseline Fuentes she greeted us with a very warm smile and welcomed us inside. We were told to sit whereever we like. There was ample seating as well. We. Chose one of corner booths/tables and definitely enjoyed our time and our food. We got pupusas combo which comes with two pupusas, rice, beans and a salad. I added an extra pupusa to mine. We ordered a tamal on the side and a pan con pollo. My wife got a pepsi and I got a jamaica. Joseline the waitress immediately brought us chips and salsa and was very attentive and friendly throughout the entire encounter. She offered us more chips, our food came out fast and the music and the vibe all in all was relaxing, accomodating and enjoyable. Big portions and the food was delicious. The pupusas were freshly made, the pan con pollo was suculent. We will be returning soon. Perfect ambiance to eat peacefully and enjoy salvadorean cuisine. The decor was definitely on point. Made me feel like I was in El Salvador.

I'm just not into these pupusas…read more Yes they're cheap, about $1.25-$1.50 each, but they're tiny. I'd rather pay $3 for a pupusa not only double the size, but filled way more with actual ingredients over at El Carrusel. I ordered a revuelta and couldn't tell what the heck was inside the pupusa. It looked like a blended mix of who knows what. And there wasn't any cheese. A friend ordered a cheese that wasn't cheesy. And another friend ordered loroco that didn't even have anything inside. The curtido they provide isn't even enough for two pupusas, and the salsa is bland. The horchata was decent, a bit sweeter than most places. The platanos however were fantastic. Dense, crispy and gooey on the outside, soft on the inside.

I asked what veggies came in caldo de res more than once to make sure I was gonna get something I liked. But they forgot to mention yuca and I don't eat yucca whatsoever personal preference. They said zanahoria calabaza papa elote NEVER YUCCA 3. I order Pepsi and chocomilk and they came after my food (because I asked for the drinks) was on the table which is weird because I asked for it when I paid . 3. When my food came out I told them about the yucca and that I don't like caldo with yucca and the lady tried to say it's cooked separately which I understand but idc because I asked two separate workers about the veggies and apparently they both don't know what veggies are in a soup. The lady with the caldo was offended because I simply didn't like the caldo it was on the thicker side and I could taste the bouillon a lot. 4. When I told her about the yucca and she got upset she asked what I wanted and I asked her what does caldo de pollo come with and she said le puedo poner lo que quieras como no te gusta todos los vegetales(with attitude) i was like okay perfect and we agreed on zanahoria calabaza papa y elote which my caldo took 20 minutes to come out boiling hot which was obviously on purpose because my first caldo didn't even come out hot enough to eat.... I didn't even eat the caldo because it was tooo fucken hot and it tasted like chicken water and no salt. She went as far as giving me a plastic spoon the second time just to be petty. When I told her about there only being 3 pieces of carrot and one calabaza she started getting mad and another lady that doesn't know anything just started saying el caldo no viene con papa ni elote. But the thing is the lady that served me which is the same lady I'm brining it up to had said she could put elote zanahoria papa y calabaza which clearly was not met. I used to eat pozoleria Dona Ana when she was the one making the food and honestly service is terrible the food was expensive for the shitty service they provide. Most def learned my lesson will not be returning nor recommending anymore. Ps the pozole isn't even good anymore the granos were literally not cooked all the way thru and it just doesn't taste homemade nor good more like a can of pozole from the grocery store....

And this lady seriously asks me, "what meat" and I repeat myself and she laughs in my face like I'm the one that sounds dumb for asking what is she taking about. She repeats herself and I say, "birria." Then she proceeds to ask me, "Do you want that with cheese or no cheese?" If I'm asking for quesabirrias, is it not obvious I want it with birria and cheese. But it's also the fact that she makes me out to be the idiot for being confused at her ridiculous questions. They then gave us the same number as the man before us and had to bring it to their attention, so they wouldn't give our food to him (he had a to-go). Thanks to the man that went to go say something. Then, my mom said that they charged us the same amount for both menudos when on the menu it shows up at different prices (we got 1 pata, 1 without). I brought it to their attention and I said, "That's okay, you could go ahead and bring me the pata, since you already charged me for it." She answered, "Well, you have to go pay the difference up front." I repeated myself, she viewed my receipt and said okay. She comes back 5 minutes later and she tells me, "They charged you for the pata, do you want your money back?" I said, "no, you could go ahead and bring it to me with the pata." Then she finally brings it out and tells me, "it's priced at the same amount whether you get pata or not." Whether or not, that was true, why was she trying to charge me the difference. They never brought my mom that said sangria, she never ordered. She went to go get a refund for that and they only gave her $4 with no added tax amount, so they didn't even process her refund as they were supposed to. To make matters worse, the food wasn't even good. I really tried to enjoy it, but the menudo was tough and quesabirrias lacked flavor. The restaurant was small, and we had to sit outside, which was okay, considering it wasn't too hot out. In conclusion, service was awful, rude, there was no coordination, food was not the best, and the it was small but very limited seating.
