This store is across from Plaza Las Americas but as a previous reviewer mentioned it's not very convenient to get from one to the other. There is a small strip mall called Mintemar Plaza that is easier to access across the street and has good food (all roads with me lead to food and/or beer, lol).

Extremely Disappointed - Avoid This Place! I went to…read moreuBreakiFix in San Juan to replace the screen on my Google Pixel because they advertise themselves as an authorized Google repair shop and claim to provide warranty. I paid over $300 for the replacement, which I was fine with for proper service and quality parts. However, the screen stopped working after only 3 weeks. When I returned expecting warranty coverage, they refused service because of a tiny, barely visible scratch on the screen. They claimed this voided the warranty--even though the scratch had nothing to do with the failure. I asked them to check the issue, and after 2 hours, they repeated the same excuse without explaining what caused the malfunction. Later, another repair shop immediately found the real problem: the screen was damaged internally, likely due to something left inside during installation. This means either the staff at uBreakiFix San Juan were incompetent and careless, or they knew about the mistake and lied, using the scratch as an excuse to deny warranty. I emailed the company several times, but the owner refused responsibility and offered to replace the screen at my expense. While physical damage can void a warranty, this was clearly a service error. I strongly advise against trusting this location with your device.

My bill for AirPods came to $278. 5 days later I was in Best Buy across the street, same AirPods are selling for $199. On Amazon, for $174. I went back 5 days after purchase to return my AirPods, in mint condition but the box was opened. I expressed consumer dissatisfaction at that price. I was told, they don't return anything that has been opened and that as they are a reseller they do not have to follow Apple Guide lines for returns. Nor do they return funds, they give you a store credit. BUYER BEWARE. I feel $104 stolen from my pocket. They were unmoved and unmoving of their rules. My recommendation, do NOT shop at Modernica in Puerto Rico. Total rip off. Shame on Apple for doing business with this third party reseller. As it looks and feels like an Apple store the customer is conned into thinking the policies will be identical despite being called, Modernica. THIS IS NOT AN APPLE STORE. I will never shop here again, I will tell everyone I know not to shop here and I question my alliance to Apple as they were unable to resolve the issue as I had hoped they might. Was I looking for an exception? After 20 years and thousands of dollars spent on Apple products within my family, yes, I was. I called Apple and they said there was NOthing they could do to ease the price burden differential carried by the customer. This caused me to have to walk to Walgreens and pay an additional ATM machine fee to pull out cash . After I overpaid for the service , he so nicely offered 15 percent off items in his store ... I wasn't amused . He also offered to sell me an overpriced "waterproof " case to hold my phone . As he was showing me how the case "worked " it was falling apart . I didn't ask for help but i saw the employees were engaging with customers. The copy service area was pretty busy. I found what I needed. In fact, I had to return later in the afternoon because I bought the wrong ink cartridge for my printer. The exchange was quick and easy. The cashier was nice. This store has two floors. The first one has the papers, ink cartridges, and general office supplies. The second floor has the computers, printers, desks and chairs, and cleaning supplies. Parking is free for the first three hours.
