Extremely Disappointed - Avoid This Place! I went to…read moreuBreakiFix in San Juan to replace the screen on my Google Pixel because they advertise themselves as an authorized Google repair shop and claim to provide warranty. I paid over $300 for the replacement, which I was fine with for proper service and quality parts. However, the screen stopped working after only 3 weeks. When I returned expecting warranty coverage, they refused service because of a tiny, barely visible scratch on the screen. They claimed this voided the warranty--even though the scratch had nothing to do with the failure. I asked them to check the issue, and after 2 hours, they repeated the same excuse without explaining what caused the malfunction. Later, another repair shop immediately found the real problem: the screen was damaged internally, likely due to something left inside during installation. This means either the staff at uBreakiFix San Juan were incompetent and careless, or they knew about the mistake and lied, using the scratch as an excuse to deny warranty. I emailed the company several times, but the owner refused responsibility and offered to replace the screen at my expense. While physical damage can void a warranty, this was clearly a service error. I strongly advise against trusting this location with your device.
