Good location and very spacious. There is plenty of parking... two parking levels actually. As you'd expect from a Best Buy, they have plenty of electronics and Geek Squad service. They also sell kitchen appliances like stoves, microwaves and fridges, and more. I don't come here that often, but when I do it's usually for Nintendo games, DVDs ( in the past), and stuff like usb cables. I rarely interact with staff but the times I have they are willing and helpful. This store is across from Plaza Las Americas but as a previous reviewer mentioned it's not very convenient to get from one to the other. There is a small strip mall called Mintemar Plaza that is easier to access across the street and has good food (all roads with me lead to food and/or beer, lol). read more

The payment plan of a year without interest, free delivery, installment and haul away, plus 1 year warranty with the fabric and 5 years extended warranty with the Geek Squad seemed like "an offer you can't refuse". We bought the Whirlpool slide in stove three weeks ago. This is the first time that I buy a stove that needs calibration, so Whirlpool treats the situation like a DIY project and sends a Youtube with instructions that does not apply to the stove model. We called Whirlpool Puerto Rico Customer Service asking for technical support, we were left waiting a couple of days, without a call, text message or Whatsapp explaining the absence, and finally reassigned a date for a week later. Why is the customer mistreated making them wait another week when they failed to keep the date they gave us? We were left with the feeling that Whirlpool's year warranty is a fraud. So we went to Best Buy seeking help. They treated the whole affair as something that has nothing to do with them, they are intermediaries. Really? Best Buy is selling the merchandise, and we are paying Best Buy, so in my book they are accountable. read more

It is inconceivable that this place continues to run as bad as any monopoly. It's almost like they have not heard of Amazon. Tons of blue shirt employees but no one here to help. Finally a dude named Samir came over when three of us were at the car stereo section. He did a good job with all of us. I have shifted my electronic purchases 80% online but not Best Buy. I used to buy almost exclusively here when it opened. Best Buy PR is nothing like the stores in the mainland. Horrible service and even worse management. Lots of blue shirt employees and when you ask for help they tell you its not their department and just walk away... Also, management in PR says that Best Buy PR functions independent from the rest of the stores and that they do not honor company policies albeit they are (or were at one point) plastered all over the store. Strangely, if you complete the purchase and then call customer service they do honor the policies. Makes you wonder who do they have running the business. This company will not last in PR for too long, other 2 stores have already closed. Listen to your customers and make the adequate adjustments if you want to continue doing business here. You can start by replacing management and properly training staff. read more

Best place to buy electronics, they have everything from movies to cameras. Best place to buy a Movies, TV, Appliances, Computers and Cameras. Of course, the funko pop figures. Only downside is a 2 hour drive. We would like a closer store on the south side of the island. read more

Great location and excellent customer service. This was one of my few retail experiences in Puerto Rico where the staff actually WANTED to help! A stark contrast to many of the other stores in the area, where you'll literally see 2-3 people standing around looking bored/apathetic, while another worker handles a whole line of customers. Definitely one of the better Best Buy experiences I've encountered on the customer service front, and I was actually impressed by their technical knowledge and price/value-savviness; as a "Super Nerd"- that should provide a pretty solid stamp of approval. The employees are knowledgeable, engaged, and there are lots of great deals to be found. The one downside was the delivery time for the appliances (washer/dryer/fridge) purchased - but, it's not just this Best Buy, and more the overall PR logistics / "island time" vortex. It will be about 2 weeks to deliver, but, it's also free delivery/install .... and living on the top floor.... with no elevator. Yeah, I can wait the 2 weeks. read more

They recycle laptops (among other electronic items), which is valuable because Apple's recycling-by-mail program doesn't work in PR. Just drop off your laptop. They won't pay you anything for it but they say that they will dispose of it or recycle it safely. Note that if you haven't removed the hard drive, Best Buy will remove it at a cost and give it to you. Best Buy also recycles batteries and a range of other items (including plastic bags). Im referring to Geek Squad subscription. Be very careful when you subscribe with them. To get out of that subscription it's a nightmare. They make you go in your computer to cancel the subscription, then they get access to your computer and they control your computer just for a simple cancellation. With all this hackers it's very scary!!! read more

YOUR GM EDDIE LEON HAS JUST SCREAMED INSULTED AND HUNG UP ON MY CALL I WILL BE CANCELLING MY ORDER WITH BEST BUY order #1119166796537 placed in the HATO REY store in June. My items are in the warehouse of the delivery company Allied Logistics and they do not want to deliver my items. I was supposed to be delivered Wednesday, October 9th between 10am to 12pm. I never received a call from ALLIED LOGISTICS for the delivery and I am still waiting for my kitchen appliances to be delivered. I have spoken to the 9 of Allied Logistics employees, including two managers, EDDIE LEON who screamed at me!!!!!, Juan, Girber, Erica Joyra. And none where no help whatsoever, which is why I am emailing you. Also, I was informed that you had a meeting regarding this case and it was disregarded due to what the SYSTEM is saying. Corporate Best Buy has been trying to reach ALLIED LOGISTICS or Eddie to reschedule my delivery to today or tomorrow, as it cannot be done in the system because it is in "TRANSIT". I do not see the issue to deliver my items that are in your warehouse! Which is my Corporate best buy wants to speak with ALLIED LOGISTICS for the delivery. This Best Buy is quite large and has a very good selection of electronics. They have their own parking and are across from the mall but a little hard to get to. Nonetheless, it's the place to go for your electronics, computers, TV's, phone accessories, etc. read more

This best buy located near Plaza las Americas is my go to best buy and geek squad. Whenever i had an issue with my cellphone, geek squad helped me out. You go sign in on the geek squad computer and wait to be called which is usually not more than a 5 min wait during the week (probably more during the weekend). They ran a diagnostic on my cellphone and determined that it was defective. The new phone came in less than a week (right on time for taking pictures at my sisters wedding). What is tough is getting someone on floor to help you with something when there is a lot of customers in the weekend, but it shouldnt be that hard during the week. read more
