It is a beautiful space along the midway plaisance. The neighborhood is beautiful in the summer. The theater is well maintained. This is one of the few places in the city that have a constant showing of international arts and performances. An excellent locale for many performances. Easily accessible by public transit and close to the Museum of Science and Industry.

What I got was the ability to book lessons online with instructors who vary in experience, professionalism, and teaching ability. My first instructor cancelled an hour before the first lesson by text message - I was leaving work early to get there and just happened to check my phone - and tried to change the next lesson at the last minute. The lesson - during which I mainly sat in the passenger seat - ended 15 minutes early because she had to drive back to the school to meet another student whose lesson started exactly when mine ended. I requested more experienced instructors who did help me learn how to drive. But the schedule is very limited - I found instructors I liked, but was only able to book lessons a couple of weeks apart. Not great when learning a new skill, especially when you don't have your own car to practice with. You pay the whole $700 upfront, and it felt like the company had zero interest or incentive in actually helping me get a driver's license once I handed them my credit card. The good? I can now operate a motor vehicle. The bad? I'm out $700 with no driver's license to show for it, and I've heard nothing from this 'school' about the road test - the experience has been frustrating, like I was completely on my own to try to make it work.

I was told $529 was for 6 months and found out the next day that I was charged the entire $529 for the first month. After incessant calls and follow ups, they finally cancelled my membership and sent me an email that I was ineligible for a refund. My daughter did not have a single session with them but they basically asked me to read my terms of membership and that I would not get my money back. I am livid and will do whatever it takes to get my refund back. They misrepresent and when challenged, push us against the wall. I have no recourse at this time but I plan to take legal action against them. It is no longer about the money but about principles.
