Do not go there. These pieces of shit lost my hard drive with over a million dollars of geophysical data on it. I brought it in, they tested it and it was faulty and they were gonna recover the data. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing I called and they said they dont have my hardrive and never heard of me. They ghosted me, never returned my calls and The customer service is lowest quality. I am taking legal matters now. I have proof that they accepted my hardddive and I have video and witnesses of when I dropped it off. I have also talked to some friends in the Missoula area that have had bad experiences with them. Computer Guys hahah, should be called Computer Retards!!!!! I paid $78 just to be told they didn't know what was wrong with my computer. I think it's reasonable to charge for diagnostics, but you've got to be able to tell me something afterwards. I went to them to upgrade my current computer as it had problems running smoothly. After two hours of "testing" I was charged $120 and told it needed over $700 in parts and labor. I need my computer for my business so I said "ok". The deal was they would send me a parts list as I can get parts for myself cheaper than they can; less of a mark up. That way I - as the customer - could save a few bucks. Apparently the Computer guys did not like me asking for a "deal" to help me out. To date, they have not sent a parts list in spite of several phone calls I made to them, and no contact has been made on their part. Apparently I'm not important 'cuz they could not make max profit on me. By the way -- I took my computer to Best Buy and BEST BUY -- FOR FREE -- told me to just update and match my computer's memory. $96 bucks and my computer runs like the damn wind in Kansas!! "They Guys" lied to me to try and make a sale and when they couldn't make big bank they dumped me. I'll never go back there... read more

I brought in my old (2012 / Windows 7) laptop that, oddly enough, wouldn't boot. Fletcher was really frank in managing my expectations, namely don't expect much, but we'll do what we can. Two days later he called me back with the news that there were 300 unrecoverable errors , another "Computer Guy" steered me to the specs and location where I could get the kind of laptop I need. I needed data transferred between a VERY old MacBook and an older Mac Air. Computer Guys asked all the right questions, had all the power cables, took out the hard drive on the MacBook to do the transfer quickly. I expected several hours and up to $200; it took about an hour and the price was just over half of that. This is a very professional shop. They work to Apple standards and are certified for Mac service. There is no Apple Store in Missoula, but Computer Guys does the job well. read more

My iMac crashed during a download to Big Sur OS. Went to Apple Support online, and tried everything they could suggest--no luck. Took it to these guys in the morning, explained the issue, and had it back and fully functional again by afternoon. So, I had my MacBook Pro go out completely and these guys are licensed apple specialists. When I brought them my laptop I was all frothy and irrational because I'm a writer and all my work was on it. Not only did they calm my rabid nerves and let me know that they'd most likely recover all my data but they worked quickly. I read a review stating that Computer guys had the computer for 1 wk plus and when contacted said that the computer had to have the Operating System re-installed and left that up to them. Basically that's what they told me as well. Charged $212 for running a scan, deleting a couple of programs and giving it back to me the way it was when Ibrought it in. read more

I first emailed computer guys about replacing my notebook screen. The person I emailed asked me for my notebook SN# and Model #,. I emailed this to him. He told me to bring it in. I left it there for several days and then after calling them I was told that I would have to send it to an authorized service center. They charged me $40.00 for this when he could have stated this in his email after he received my SN# and Model. The lady at the desk was no help. read more
