I really don't know where to start with this review. I had to have some routine bloodwork done and…read morethe LabCorp in Huber Heights. They are able to do Saturday morning appointment, which is super convenient for me. I go in, I check in at the kiosk, and I take a seat. I am the only person in the waiting room. As I'm sitting there, I can overhear the three ladies behind the window talking about someone which I soon figured out was me. They said "Did he just leave?" "He probably forgot his insurance card." And then the one lady with red hair says "If that MORON doesn't come back in five minutes, I'm canceling his appointment." Yep...she called me a moron. I immediately stood up and walk over to the window. I calmly say "Are you referring to me?" All three ladies looked at me like deer in headlights. The lady that called me a moron started stuttering and stammering. She asked my name, and I said yes that's me, and she says "Oh, we thought you left. We have been calling for you." I replied back and said "No you didn't, I have been sitting here staring at the window, listening to your entire conversations. Next time, you might want to check the room before you start calling people morons." She completely ignored the fact that I was called a moron and just asked for my insurance card and payment method. They took me back and did the blood work. I will say, the lady that did my bloodwork was super friendly. Although, she was probably trying to make up for the fact that I was just insulted in the waiting room. As I was walking out, the lady with red hair, the one that called me a moron, yells out at me "Sorry about all that, we had thought you left". I didn't even acknowledge that hateful woman and I continued out the door.

I left this identical review under Well Now, but thats because its essentially the same location…read moreunder a new name and the well now version is closed. This urgent care used to be Well Now but is now Quickmed but its the same location and we have been there with similar experience under the well now name and the current name. I'm superstitious that if I crow about good care it will disappear (kind of like a universal I told you so), so to be clear this is only about the care I have received to date, and the experience going forward could change at any time. This is hands down the best urgent care medical services my family and I have experienced in two decades. The providers aren't just attentive and caring, they are competent. Like shockingly competent, which is something I don't really expect to receive in this region, even at the "nicer" areas, much less by an urgent care anywhere. The office side is a little iffy (mostly workflow problems: long waits, communication issues, computer system problems), but the office staff has always been courteous to us and I would far prefer to have people who care, try, and the providers to be medically competent than have shorter wait times and a more efficient workflow. Seriously, don't improve those at the expense of medical care.

Amy was a wonderful competent and caring representative of labcorp. Sorry she is gone and so is our business. It was so close to home. Change of management has business consequences. Kind and competent. Quickly manage lab requests and are generally well above average when it comes to drawing blood and understanding discomfort and pain. Extremely attentive and focused.

Worst experience I have ever had with a laboratory testing company. When I arrived, they could not…read morefind my bloodwork order in their system for a good while. Then they had me check in on the computer, which I didn't mind. It scanned my insurance card and asked for other details...no problem. Then they said they found my paperwork for the requested tests and called me to come back to the lab room. The nurse practicioner we to her computer to print out the labels for the viles, but could not find my lab request. She called to the people up front for help. They came back and then fiddled with the computer and said they were going to have to manually enter my insurance information into the computer. She took my insurance card and started entering the information into the computer. After that, she reached for a bunch of viles which I thought was odd since I was just there to have one thing tested. They drew the blood and said I was good to go. One month later, I receive an invoice form them for over $500 for 5 additional blood tests that were not requested by me or by my doctor. I refused to pay and they said to have my doctor call to straighten it out. I had my doctor verify and he did not request any of the additional tests they had performed and the labcorp rep said they would take care of it. A month goes by and the invoice is still out there, then two months, then 4 months and now after multiple rounds of phone calls and talking to people at labcorp, we are in month 5 with the invoice still out there and past due notices coming in the mail for services neither I or my doctor requested. I have very good insurance and have NEVER had to pay for bloodwork tests in the past and believe me, I have had these tests before. I don't think they even know how to submit an insurance claim correctly. Avoid this company at all costs. Get your bloodwork done elsewhere if you can.

Their web site says that the hours are open 730 -4:30 M-F. I showed up too early and didn't want to wait so I left & went to work. I left work and got back to this lab at 12:15 because their web site showed they were open. But they weren't- they close from 12 - 1 for lunch. I waited until they showed up at 1:15. Then I was told that they couldn't draw my blood because the order was pending. I won't ever be back.

They answered but then transferred me to a lady they said would answer but it went to voice mail. I also sent them an e-mail on their contact site. Day two I finally got a hold of someone, and she blamed it on the Kettering hospital hack and said the offices aren't receiving all their faxes. She said the office should call the lab. I told her this was not a STAT order, so he does not know when I had it done. If CompuNet is aware of a problem they should be calling the office to see if they received the faxed lab work.
