I know she is in good hands at educare with the excellent staff they have. Every day when I drop off or pick up every staff member we see greets us and makes us feel welcomed. I show up every Monday with my baby girl and her blanket, a change of clothes for any accidents, and the school provides diapers till they need them and food and snacks. I will always be grateful for the teachers that helped my daughter throughout the years: Ms. Alicia, Ms. Kathy, Ms. Maria, Ms. Maricela and Ms. Rosa. I will truly miss the school as this is the last year my daughter can attend. The front staff is also very professional and nice as we come in, the staff that opens the gates, and the counselors that help with enrollment are excellent and there to help with anything. Yes it tough, yes you will want to give up, and yes you will question if your even smart enough to be a nurse. I know because I was that person. Thankfully, when my second son was old enough to go to preschool, we got wise and moved him from the famous chain preschool to EduCare. He is SO MUCH happier at EduCare. When we were looking for preschools, we searched all over Lakewood and parts of Bellflower and Long Beach. We checked into everything, from the big ones to the tiny, private in-home preschools. This one is in a great location, near the center of Lakewood. The tuition is SO reasonable! The playground has great equipment, and the classrooms very well maintained. We couldn't believe our luck! He has been here about seven+ months now and has switched classes with his age group, so we've had a few different teachers (Melba, Stacey, Rebecca, Gina), and we've met all the other teachers if they have to move things around a little, and they are all GREAT. Like, seriously, seriously wonderful, caring human beings. They are all child whisperers... I swear they are that good! This goes for the director, Vicki, too. She cares so much about her school, her teachers, the kids, and the parents! At the other school, the director and her assistant always made us feel like we were just there to pay tuition, but were otherwise in the way, almost like an enemy that they had to tolerate. Vicki is the complete opposite! She is so warm and sweet and welcoming. They also have a dance company, Webby Dance, that comes in once a week and teaches a music and dance class to the children who sign up for it. If you get a chance, my son LOVES it. The teacher is AWESOME. The fact that they partner with Webby Dance makes me love EduCare all the more. You should know that you need to pack a lunch, but I've grown to really like that so I know exactly what my son is eating during the day. (They do offer snacks.) And they keep the bed linens at the school, because they launder them there, which is awesome, because I hated remembering to do that over the weekend at the other school. My son is always working on something fun at EduCare and is learning things I know his older brother did not learn at this age at that other preschool. In fact, when I walked in today to pick up my son, his teacher was spending one-on-one time with him helping him piece his art project together. My son can be frustrated easily, but she was so patient and soothing, it was amazing watching him work on it in such a relaxed manner! In fact, that is when I realized a review was long overdue. He has grown so much intellectually, emotionally, and physically since starting. I'm just mad we didn't enroll him sooner!!

They had a bed to pull out and sleep offer snacks since they know you've gone about 26 hours with little to no sleep and food.
