They have single pieces of choclate available for purchase or you can mix and match. They all sell pastel colored, candy and chocolate covered almonds. Think Jordan almonds but waaay better. If you're buying a gift make sure to let them know so they can wrap it up nicely for no extra charge. They also sell colorful boxed chocolate bars that are various levels of chocolate from mill, to dark and filled with different items. Word of caution: If you have a nut allergy though this may not be the place for you. Almost everything has some type of nut (hazelnut, almond, etc) or is produced on a machine that shared equipment with nuts.

We like chocolate. Maybe more than "like" since we seek out shops wherever we go…read more This little shop was near the hotel we stayed in and on our walk to/from the nearest metro station. They had hot chocolate warming out front in the evenings and a full spread of bon bons and bars inside. The young lady working the shop the afternoon we stopped by was nice and was ready to answer any questions we had about the products. We ended up taking some information about their ganache-filled pieces and buying a bar and cup of chocolate: the bar was for me and the cup for my wife. She said the hot chocolate was nice and the Papua New Guinea bar exhibited the characteristic smokiness of that variety (trivia: it has to do with how the beans are processed in that area). I'd probably give it a solid 4 stars, but the bar pushes it to 5 for me. Some places try roast the smokiness out because they believe it is undesirable. Edward seems to embrace it. Bravo!

It happened to be the place that I purchased a majority of my gifts from. The chocolate is high quality and the flavor combinations are superb. Not only that, but they have THE CUTEST gifts. A tin can of sardines (milk chocolate) and a bread basket of baguettes (also milk chocolate). The service here was wonderful too. Patient, knowledgeable and non-condescending. The second time I went the guy even spoke to me in slow minimal French. That made me feel really happy. :)

Stumbled upon this location…read more I had a shop near Rivoli marked. Glad I slipped in here because I never found the other location. I was greeted as I walked in. But I needed time alone to look over and discover all the heavenly chocolate offers. Boxed sets, bars, and individual pieces in the case. Edwart was on my list because he plays with very unique combinations. Japanese whisky, curry and other unique flavors. The whisky had to be purchased in a box, I wasn't up for that. So the girl walked me through the origins and notes of the bars. 85% was the darkest- I love rich and savory, not sweet. I also picked a half dozen of the individual pieces to snack on during the trip. Travel note- you can plan ahead and have a private tasting class.
