The store was charming, the attendant hospitable, and you could clearly see a man working behind the glass building chocolates. I purchased a pretty wide range of choices to bring back to the states. The chocolate lait caramel is the BEST CHOCOLATE I've EVER EATEN. It is unbelieveably delicious. I want to take a trip back to Montpellier just to get some. All the veggies and fruits are more than half the price of other market, especially Marché Arceaux. For example - 3 butternut squash, 20 clementines, one bunch of pink garlic ( about 10 bulb or more, 4 Kumato tomato, 2 large red tomato was... 15 Euros! Can you believe that? Don't get me wrong, I love Marché Arceaux but I can't afford it everyday :) If you live here in Montpellier, this market is worth visiting. You have to bring lots of bags to shop!
