We love the data based approach to keeping track of our health based on our personal baselines and monitoring for changes over time. Her attentive personal touch endears her to us. We are 50ish, and we love that she's not way older or way younger than us. So she can identify with other aspects of our well being because she can relate to some degree. We've always had positive experiences with her care and ability to address our needs. Someone posted something negative about the office or appointment processes. While it is her office, we feel the need to separate the two. The quality of care is most important. It would be great if the online scheduling had more near term availability, but we know the best way to get in quickly is to call. Otherwise if you're on online creature, you can get something out into the future if it's not urgent and you are able to wait 6+ weeks. The staff is friendly and will do their best to meet your needs. And they seem like they're always trying to make improvements on that front. But the care has always been outstanding for us.

My appointment was at 1:30, and since my husband and I live close, he was able to drive it over my physical liscense, and I had the card in the nurses's hand by 1:38. I hadn't even finished the second page of my paper work it was so fast. They still wouldn't let me have my appointment, and I left in tears, unsure what to do as I had a uti, and needed this appointment. Honestly, when doctors often make patients wait 30-40 minutes, and this doctor can't even excuse 8 minutes, I'm glad this won't be my family care doctor. Please avoid this doctor at all costs.

Let me start, I always ask if they take insurance, I have so many visits that are paid for. The answer was yes, but the doctor will go over that. I was going for my knee, but they believe aline the back and everything is fixed. At the end of what was supposed to be xrays the doctor came in did a brief exam. Then the assistant asked me for $50. I said I have insurance, no this is a special normally $475. but with a coupon, (what coupon) It was only $50, but I had to come back to get that price. Somehow I would be paying the $425. and no insurance mention. They did take my insurance cards and ID. I didn't go back, because I know the routine. Some people probably get relief, but when a patient repeatedly says I've had this before, LISTEN. I tried to pay the $50. over the phone, no I had to come in. I had told him twice that my chronic…read moredepression was an issue for me and that I didn't think the medication I was taking was helping because I noticed an steady increase in worsening symptoms. Eventually, I asked him if he could recommend a psychiatrist for me because I wanted to see a specialist. Doctor Stokes then proceeded to explain to me what a psychologist is vs a psychiatrist (something I already knew) and then sent me on my way with a recommendation for neither. Shortly after, I had an incident that almost hospitalized me and had to be enrolled in an Intensive Outpatient Program with Summa Mental Health. When they pulled my records, the only notation that Doctor Stokes had written about my depression was at the very bottom and said, "My have mild depression."

They were really good about setting up a quick appointment for me since I was out of my meds. They do not shy away from treating people with all types of conditions. They really are caring people and treat you like a family member not a chart. They worked with me through appointments and have helped me through every step of the way. They now have me on the correct meds I should be on and have me in what I consider the best shape I been in. The main person I deal with is Meredith Pressnell. She is a great person and a great nurse practitioner. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a doctor that listens to your concerns and treats you right to check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
