Though I did not have time to take advantage of it, there is an Art Gallery on campus for those with such proclivities. The campus is not worth going out of your way to see, but if you happen to be in Lowell anyway...why not? Some children need more structure and connection, but concerns were often dismissed. Negative reinforcement ripples through the class, and parents are made to feel small rather than supported. Staff appear professional, but interactions often felt cold. Don't just trust your gut during the tour -- notice how you feel dropping your child off each day. Trust your child. Speak up, even when it's uncomfortable. Things may have improved since, but more openness and responsiveness are still needed.

I came across an ad at the library for summer sewing camp for kids, but I really wanted to re-learn…read more(last time I used a sewing machine was 16 years ago) using my semi-newish sewing machine. She was very willing to teach me the basics using my machine, and she charged at a very reasonable class rate. She provided patterns and fabric. I finished making an snazzy apron yesterday!!! I love how it turned out! I feel very comfortable with using my machine and venturing out with other material types and stitches. Lately, I have been spending time after work into the late hours just to practice with some simple projects. It's addictive to make and create!
