Faced with a round-trip flight to Los Angeles with a very sore and achy knee, I visited this clinic the day before my flight and received much needed relief from the pain. On the strength of this, I booked a follow up visit for my return for some clearly much-needed physical therapy. That proved to be a mistake. The session was extremely painful, which I suffered through under the delusion that it would result in improvement the next day. Reality was the exact opposite: I could barely walk or function the following day, and had to cancel an appointment in the city because I could not travel. Because this clinic only operate three days a week, the desperate voicemail I left seeking helpwas not return, even when the clinic reopened. Also, the twice promised list of relief stretches was never provided. They don't seem to monitor their voicemail very well: I canceled my following appointment, Which news they never received or acknowledged. They promised me a discussion with the doctor, but I still haven't heard anything.

It's frustrating and aggravating. Often, I have to just lay down. I have to say, hands down, of all the physical therapists I've ever seen for this problem, Alex intuitively knows where the pain is, how much pressure to apply, and exactly how to give me relief from pain. His exercises to strengthen certain areas are very precise, and targets weak areas. Some exercises he's designed himself. I went to him somewhat distressed about my neck and back, and thanks to his amazing compassion and patience for his patients, I always left his office feeling peaceful and aided. Later, I went to Alex for a chronically sprained ankle, and I was equally satisfied with the results. His assistant, Yuliya, is also extremely competent and kind. They both speak Russian, Alex, raised in Brooklyn, is an absolute diamond in the sand. My only regret is that Alex doesn't have his own practice, and that you have to go to Brooklyn to see him. It's worth the easy subway ride on the D. Thank you, Alex! Too bad my insurance plan changed. But I'll be back!

He was able to quickly assess my situation, pin point the cause of pain and began treatment. After the first visit the next morning I woke up with significantly less pain and more range of motion then I had in 3 weeks. I only needed a few more sessions after that before I was back to normal. Alex is very professional, knowledgable and expresses genuine care for his patient which is rarely found in the medical field anymore. I would definitely recommend him as a physical therapist to everyone.

I provided my insurance information and was scheduled for an appointment on 06/11/25. I asked her if I can come in to tour the facility and she said yes. I went in the following day 06/06/25 and was given a tour by the manager. I informed her that I was interested in aqua therapy and she asked which insurance did I have. I informed her and she said yes we accept Emblem GHI. Again....great! Arrived to my appointment on 06/11/25 and provided my insurance information again with a cash copay which I paid but wasn't informed prior that they only accept cash. I saw a male therapist (who didn't introduce himself). He asked me about my health condition and did a less than 5 minute evaluation. He never took me into a private room to assess my range of motion (I've had multiple therapy sessions and the initial evaluation was always done privately). He then said we have to get authorization from your insurance company. I asked approximately how long will that take. He said about two days, I said okay and left. I waited patiently and decided to give them a call on 06/17/25. I called and spoke with someone who said that the manager will call me back in about an hour....no call. I called back 06/18/25 and informed the person about my call the previous day and did not receive a call back. She said the manager will call you back in a few minutes.....no call. I called about 2 1/2 hours later stressing the important of obtaining some information. She said hold on and then came back and said we don't accept your insurance. WHAT!!! I wonder at what point were they going to inform me and at what point during the two weeks did they realize that they did not accept my insurance. I would not recommend this facility just for their unprofessionalism.

I came in for lower back pain that i've been dealing with for years! After coming in for a free consultation (which they do offer if you call and ask) Greg my physical therapist gave me a full breakdown on what my problem was and after the consulatation I decided to stick here because of how he not only explained to me my potential problem, but also educated me as to why my lower back pain was present. After about a month of consistent therapy they lead me back to having a normal life without anymore back pain!!! And if i do have back pain here and there, i refer to what Greg and the exercise specialist taught me. PROS: really clean office - Friendly and helpful staff -Array of exercise equipment -dedicated exercise training staff that stick with you throughout your therapy sessions -Occupational therapy and accupuntcure is offered as well I honestly can't think of any more good to say about them! Yes, there is a very long waiting list that might take months for your turn to come BUT it is well worth the wait! When I first contacted Jag One Physical Therapy my baby was 9 month old. It took a few months to hear back from them due to such an overwhelming list of people that are striving to see Rimma, the children's physical therapist. However once our turn came and I came for our first appointment, I quickly understood why. The office: the front desk girls are very nice and patient. They are extremely accommodating. There is a separate room where pediatric patients are seen. The room is clean, sanitized, has air purifier, heater, and central A/C. There are lots of toys and lots of equipment. Appointment: when it comes to your appointment, you have 30 minutes! EXACTLY 30 MINUTES from your appointment time NOT from the time you arrived! So don't be late because you are taking time away from other babies and it's not fair! To be honest, I think that is a great way to operate especially when you arrive with a baby! There is never a wait and you can plan your babies schedule accordingly. And YES 30 MIN is enough, you might feel like it's not enough time BUT that is all your child can handle and Rimma, the physical therapist, makes use of the entire time you are with her! The physical therapist : I had to leave the best for last! Rimma, the physical therapist, is simply amazing!!!! She is extremely knowledgeable and a very educated individual. Although I am a nurse myself, I still leave every appointment with some new information that I never knew before. Her knowledge extends from Western to Holistic care and she is always eager to share all types of research if that is something you are interested in. I find that to be so important, because that is exactly how every doctor should be. Besides being a well rounded doctor, she is also the sweetest person you'll meet! My baby absolutely loves her and gets excited every time she sees her. She treats my child as if she is her own by praising her, being gentle with her and by truly caring. Rimma goes above and beyond by always making herself available to answer any questions, address any new concerns and by following up. She sends us home with print outs of the exercises that we can do at home and lots of amazing advice. As well as during the appointment, she is fully engaged in helping your child succeed and get better with each activity. You can see how much love and care Rimma gives to every baby that walks through her door. We've been going to Rimma for a couple of months and I do see a tremendous improvement in my baby's physical health on daily basis! It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient and once you do, spread the word because every child deserves such an amazing physical therapist.
