She was simultaneously treating three patients at the same time, which immediately made me uncomfortable. It felt like I was part of an assembly line rather than an actual patient receiving care. I kept wondering whether I should wait my turn to be focused on--or if anyone was actually focused at all. The "treatment" consisted of about 2 minutes with a laser and 7 minutes of shock therapy, followed by a very brief and surface-level conversation about why I was there. There was zero effort to get to know me, my concerns, my history, or my goals. No questions, no engagement, no real assessment. My copay was $5, and honestly, the level of care reflected exactly that. It felt cheap, rushed, and impersonal--like minimal effort for minimal cost. I left feeling unimportant, rushed, and unheard. The whole place felt like a drive-thru chiropractic service--get them in, plug them into a machine, get them out. If you're looking for personalized care, attention, or a provider who actually takes the time to focus on you, this is not the place. Do not recommend.

Four or five different people quickly slip in and out of my exam room to touch me/ provide services during each 10 minute appointment. Needless to say, it is a revolving door of strangers. I don't know if any of them have read my chart or know my body's needs. I don't know any of them well enough to know who to ask for. I learned that each provider who touches some part of my service during the appointment can charge insurance for more services. That's the only reason I can think of why they would provide such unprofessional, impersonal, and awkward service. I tried to stay with them for three or four appointments because they take my insurance. Ultimately, I decided it wasn't worth the potential harm to my body to continue being seen.

When we got rear-ended and had back pain, we knew EXACTLY where to go because we remembered being under great care at this facility. They are ALL very knowledgable and always have a smile on their face!! They are always helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. Their facility is very clean and sterile. Appointments are quick and to the point so you can go on with the rest of your day after! Dr. Luu is a VERY kind doctor. He is very honest and knows what is best for you. A mishap happened with my insurance company, unfortunately they did not pay my whole bill. I still had an outstanding balance. However, Dr. Luu was kind enough to waive off the rest of our bill!!! Consequently, she felt like an abandoned patient. He also refused to schedule a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) because it was "too risky." We changed to a very competent, conscientious and caring John Muir Pulmonologist MD (and not a DO) in Walnut Creek. She scheduled two PFTs with no subsequent complications, which greatly helped assess her condition. She also referred us to an excellent John Muir Pulmonary Rehabilitation program and Respiratory Therapist. Moreover, DO Luu would not send my SO's pulmonary records to the Muir Pulmonologist. This seems very unprofessional to us. Moreover, the entire office seems rather messy, scruffy, not very clean, and depressing. We seemed to detect strange cooking odors permeating the air.

Each visit after initial is a quick in and out. Check in, wait for about a couple minutes in the waiting area, takes you to a room to get situated with option of massage chair or heating pad to relax muscles prior to adjustment and 5 minutes later he appears and adjusting everything, all the right places! Feel really good right after, muscles more relaxed and loose/limber. My husband recommended him and he's pretty picky and looks forward to his visits.
